By the way, let's try and keep the posts civil before the mods step in and introduce a massive game of hide n seek with our posts. But MrHatn Clogs. I've gotten about 2m from SoF. That's it. Honestly, that did nothing for me. I've lost 4m+ due to the item tracking thingy that jagex put it that i somehow knew nothing about. That and I actually got scammed out of 700k once... not sure how I fell for something so stupid... If you're wondering how item tracking made me lose 4m+, it's quite simple. I have major buyer's remorse sometimes, and rather than wait for it to sell again, i would go down 5%. I would do this constantly, because I could never decided what to do. Had i known that I merely had to wait 3 hours, i would've just lowered by 1gp and been fine...

Nice post to read. Sounds like it was meant from the heart.
I don't mind SOMF (Squeal of MisFortune) as I rarely get anything "rare". Have yet to get the millions of gp, or any GS, or Spirit Shield, or a huge lamp, but the almost daily sxpl and/or mxpl help me out on the skills I dislike training. Namely Prayer, because I refuse to buy bones for the skill. It's also disappointing to see the onslaught of same-dressed Bots who inhabit dragon lairs, which make it a semi-waste of potions as I cannot guarantee going from one dragon to another, thanks to the bots.
As for Solomon, I only have gotten "free" items from his store, although the extra bank space is really tempting....
I never will buy spins for SOMF, as my luck has been mediocre, at best, so why risk extra real money on the same outcome? Keep the ability to earn a ticket through skilling, and I'll be happy.
Getting back to bots... What is keeping Jmods from visiting the Grand Exchange on a daily basis? If I were a Jmod, I'd ban those gold-spammer accounts IMMEDIATELY, and I bet any real player would appreciate those bots not being there. Better yet, give me my Pmod status back, and I'll mute 'em for you. :)

Awesome post. I believe every word he wrote. Everything takes money to build, Even a game which is hard for alot of people to believe. They need more income as the game grows and they have implemented squeal and solomon for newer players to buy something "cool" instead of just bronze. Dont get me wrong now, I hate solomon and sof but i get it, they need income. I have also noticed a huge decrease in gold advertisers which is just great. Bots seem to slightly be dieing off aswell I still see way to many but they seem to be dieing off. I mean come on everyone before you critisize me honstly ask yourself has the game gotten so horrible that you cant stand it? Obviously not if your reading this fourm and still playing... keep up the good work!
*edit the new security updates will be great. Cant wait for them!

ok so you have made 2m from nothing an i correct as you have just said.
so now imagine the other i don't know the 500 thousand over people who got about the same amount. give or take a mil and lets add that all together and see what we get. And then lets add there other accounts because i know i'm not the only person with multiple accounts that are member. ( not anymore play once a day for flasks/farm run)
and i'm going to low ball this number real quick for you
500000000000gp that wasn't made through anything. Just appeared it game. So no raw materials no regular price in items droping or raising and no drops from monsters can account for all the money in the appox. year of SoF. So where do we ever get something from nothing? Not all change is for the better.
