There is absolutely nothing wrong with this.
They simply cannot grant free bank space to everyone, given the massive amount of server space that would require.
Therefore, they make people pay for more server space. Makes a lot of sense.
People have showed that they wouldn't mind paying for more bank space either. I get moody during that time of the month. You know, with the full moon and all.

Jagex, 90% of people hate your recent updates. Is this not a wake-up call? You tend to have an excuse for everything, but you do see people are angry, right? Wait I know exactly what is going on here! These terrible updates are simply a distraction from all the botting, as you procrastinate the "bot nuke #2" since that is a major source of income right now. Why don't you fire most of your workers who come up with these horrid ideas, or get project managers who actually played the game and know what players want?
In my 11 years of playing, 2005 - 2006 were the best Runescape years. I'm insulted on how little time and thought you put into the 10 year vet cape. Continue to make terrible content/items. Most of the players today are fortunate for not knowing what they missed in the past years of this game.
I remember when I was disappointed when they introduced those frog masks, now they make mini-games and quests designed on stupidity

hi mod william.
today, i was playing rs, as per usual, i was doing a slayer task, unfortunatly i died, as i died, the timer for the new update had come up, and was on 6 mins, whilst my grave was on 11, i got extremely close to my grave, but got forced to log out as the timer had reach 0, when i logged back on, my grave, and grave timer had both dissappeared!
i raise the point to mod ash or something, on the other post, and his reply was aweful.
ive lost claws and slayer helm and fire cape, which i cant afford to replace, it took me over 54 trys to get fire cape.
now because of the forced log out, i have now lost vital gear, yes, i died, yes the stuff was at risk. but i would have made it back otherwise, so u can clearly understand how frustrated i am regarding this.
i am sorry for this, but this bug is no fault of my own, the fact that i am infroming you about it aswell shows how annoyed i am, please fix this entire situation, the update, i have no issue with, it doesnt bother me, but due to the update, its put me back so far in my characters account, and it is extremely unfair for this to have happened to me!

After they milk enough money out of people and the first time buyers die down and it starts becoming a less popular purchase, then they will.

I miss when I would look forward to reading the old RS homepage and seeing what new updates would come out. I miss when 5 bucks a month got you everything, now there's all this extra **** that they keep releasing. Jagex, get rid of these stupid money hogging premium things. You guys need to start fixing this game and stop trying to squeeze every dollar out of every idiot who's dumb enough to pay for these things. R.I.P. RS 2004-2007, you just aren't the same.

So basically you're saying we deserve to start paying for decent content updates as well. So Jagex do your employees go by hourly or day rate; are meals and travel included? Just attach your bi-weekly expense reports to the emails you send us regarding loyalty points.

Re: Guys, remember that Bank space is not an in game advantage. Members already have a massive amount of bank space and could easily get the same amount of XP per hour as someone with more bank space. This is more of a convenience item.
@ Mod Zach --> This is not just a convenience item. It gives players an in-game advantage. This is how:
More bank spaces allows for more items (obviously) like armour and skilling items. Currently it is difficult (though I will admit not impossible) to be a well rounded player as there simply is not enough space in the bank to hold everything. Players right now are having to choose to be either a fighter or a skiller in order to have the really good armours or enough space to hold the skilling items. It's that or work on one skill at a time as a fighter. Working on only one skill is tedious and can end up being extremely unpleasant. Hasn't it been said that you encourage us to be well rounded players?
After adding non-tradable items that cannot be put into a POH, JaGex is saying “We'll give you the extra bank spaces that we created the need for, but only if you pay for it with real world money”. If JaGex is that desperate to make money, I'd rather see the monthly membership go up by a couple of dollars than have this kind of greedy, back stabbing money grab.
