@Mod Seven
Thanks for clearing that up, and for your swift response! :)
@BR0MAT0
Very minimal advantage, at the very best. I have loads of free spaces, and that's just because I dumped all the useless junk quest items. Considering the amount of time it takes to get all those points from SC... minimal advantage, if that. Sorry, but I just don't feel that way about it at all.
As mentioned by the mods, it's conveinience. At least that's exactly how I feel about it.
Edit: My forum fuu is terribad. need more practice lol

Thank you all for posting your opinions on this, I promise that your views are read and passed on for consideration with the development of future updates!

My arse you all read the feedback we give you. If that were true you'd have stop with your RWT updates long ago after seeing the obvious HATE and negativity for them. All you do is cause rage and more people to leave your game.

I have no problem with this update, in principle, but it worries me that we're heading down a slippery slope here. I previously supported Solomon because it was a way for Jagex to make money without selling actual advantages, but today you've started selling the first practical item, however small. Where are we going with it next? Selling XP pendants? Pay $10 for an hour of double drops? I don't like it one bit.
I have a thread detailing how Jagex can employ microtransactions without upsetting the playerbase (I.E. me), which will involve a few changes to the SoF. Please do give it a good read.

Thanks :)

no no no no no, This is not what the solomon's store should have. This is paying money for in game advantages, The community itself is going to go against this, and im sure players are already going to stop playing because of this. I was fine with cosmetic skins, but this in game advantage is just the start, whats next buying a weapon with stats better than a chaotic 2h at the amazing price of 50 runecoins? Should've had a poll or ask the community before making a greedy game ruining decision like this. I quit games because mostly of being able to spend money to gain a much better advantage and this is just the start towards a path like that.

More stuff to say..Simply because Jagex has more cash to spend on updates does not mean what we get will necessarily increase in quality. The new developers may very well be inexperienced and and produce inferior updates to the seasoned developers we know and love. If recent updates are anything to judge by, I'm quite uneasy about the quality of future projects (many aspects of clan avatars seemed poorly reasoned [where the hell did the "we won't put items in your inventory" crap come from?], the Crucible was heavily glitched and has various problems in balancing and matchmaking, recent quests have been rather bland, Fish Flingers improvements felt unfinished and had to be further amended at a later date..the list goes on).
I'll not debate that there's a strong likelihood that quantity will be increased, but frankly, quantity of updates has decreased over time as well. That's natural with the complexity of the game and difficulty in making updates increasing, but I'm still not about to be ecstatic over updates getting back to where I think they should be..And, tying back into earlier in this post, a complex game + inexperienced devs could be a catastrophe.
So yeah, more money doesn't mean everything's going to be great. I'll be happy if and when things pick up, but I'm not accepting vague promises of good things as anything of value to me, and I'm certainly not forgetting the last few months of crap updates, little communication (which has picked up on MTX threads at least; kudos for that), and mindless marketing.
@ Jagex- As to the upcoming newsposts..Please, PLEASE tell me they're not just offering more promotions. That's just going to make people even more angry. Be smart. I know it's painful, but tear those cards away from your chest and get us excited about future updates, about the GAME, not about marketing junk.
