Question for a straightforward and and truthful JMod: Will the 'crab dance emote', 'squid cape', and 'scorching hot title' be available from Solomon's General Store? Or placed on the Squeal of Fortune? I hope for the former, as I've had enough SoF shoved down my throat this summer to last me over 9000 more summers.
I will present two posts reflecting either outcome:
Obtained from Solomon: Cool, sounds like fun!
Obtained from SoF: I don't even care about SoF promotions any more, provided they don't give lasting ingame advantages. Otherwise, it's just more useless cosmetic junk that doesn't even look good. I won't obtain these items, nor care to, and neither will 90% of the RS community.

I just wanted to log in to post and thank Mod Zach; you've done a good job of being gracious in replying to the haters.
I'll be honest; I hate the in-game pop-up ads. I even posted about it in the forums a while back. I'm glad that the "Hide this" option has been put into place, but it'd be great if members could opt-out of in-game pop-ups. I understand the purpose of the SOF, but the constant hype is evidentially beginning to rile people (slight understatement).
As to the Sizzlin' Summer stuff. It's cool. I don't ness. like the outfit, but I won't turn it down. It's all fun.

I appreciate Mod Zach's feedback--it's good to know that Jagex is looking at our comments. This is a welcome change from some of the SoF forum posts in which the players' questions were left unanswered. I do have one small suggestion: Can future updates for micro-transactions please be limited solely to Solomon's Store (eg no more updates for the SoF)? I'm fine with Jagex-backed microtransactions in rs as long as the purchased items are purely cosmetic. I love to see the new emotes in Solomon's store because they look cool but don't give anyone an unfair advantage. Unfortunately, some of the SoF items (raw cash and xp) confer a considerable game advantage. The new option to "convert items to gold" comes close to rwt.
