Mod Daezhun- I mean no offense by this, but do you know that for sure, or is that just what you assume? Y'all at Jagex have been hemorrhaging money from side projects as of late (8realms flopped, losing millions, Transformers Universe and your currently unnamed other game represent nothing but drains on resources, and all Stellar Dawn assets are pretty much wasted as it sits in stalled development), and RS has always more than funded its own development with memberships alone.
Something HAS to be funding the cash sinks you have, right? And y'all don't seem to be making much off of anything but RS at the moment, so I'd be willing to assume that the funding is coming from RS. After all, RS was able to fund not only its own development, but also the development of 8realms, FunOrb, and Mechscape/Stellar Dawn in the past. The thing is, membership funds may not be enough to deal with the massive amount of funds your company requires at the moment, so you'd need to make more money. As a result, it makes more sense to me that the money from MTS (or maybe the money from membership) is going to fund the production of and deficits from other games than to say that it's being re-invested into RS, a game that is successful by all standards and already receives several millions in re-investments every year.
So, simple question: Do you know, for certain, that the MT money isn't going to the development of other games or isn't replacing membership funds that are being drawn away from RS to other games (they are both the same effect, in my mind)?
