You guys are seriously complaining about the new rings having *temporary* stat boosts? Seriously?? The TokKul-Zo has *twice* the amount of stats to *both* attack and defense stats. Anyone with half a brain and decent combat stats can get it, assuming they're not too lazy to do a quest or 5. Or you could just buy one of the rings dropped by Dagg Kings if you have a decent amount of disposable gp to spend on overpriced stat boosters.
Seriously, you guys are blowing this way out of proportion.

Hmm, So now I am a little kid? No...
I like the occasional Items on the S0F and as long as I only have to get 75 Spins for the Items, I'm fine with it.
£480 a Month - £13.99 = £466.01 left over for the Month, Don't seem to bother me.
Also don't let this get between us when waiting for game updates in LOTW
EDIT: I don't mind supporting a company which I am thinking on applying for a Job there as a "Q&A Tester".

Freemane, it's an obvious progression that anyone should be able to pick out at this point. It'll only be a matter of time.
Yesterday? Cosmetics.
Today? Stat enhancements with a shelf life.
Tomorrow? Stat enhancements without a shelf life.
The Future? 20 bucks for a weapon that's better than a chaotic weapon.
Edit: Matthew "Occasional items from SoF." I chuckled. There's a new SoF exclusive every week and you know it. =P
All hands on deck! Douse the sails! Batten down the hatches! There be a **** storm a brewin'.

@Freemane; You really think this is about stats? Seriously??
The TokKul-Zo is earned in game. Albeit, it may not be the most difficult thing to get, but it's still earned.
This ring is bought.

@Zankou - No, your membership is still going into the development of quests, bosses and the like just as it's always done previously. Income of SoF and SGS more than offset the cost of updating them, so in fact that overhead profit from the MTX features, minus the upkeep of these features, goes back into development of new game content.
If the money from Squeal and Solomon's goes straight back to development, why has this year been so bad for content? I mean, there's been a few bright spots, but overall we're on pace to have the worst year of content ever...

Just a question, people seem really upset when you add things to SGS and SOF but before that you used a membership system that had lower prices and it felt like you made more updates to the game and people were generally positive each month.
So why does it felt like since SGS and SOF we've gotten raised membership prices and less updates? And why have cash shops in a game that's already p2p (well 80% of it).

@Mod Daezhun
Really? Have you seen the Maintenance section compared to the SoF updates?
Let me choose where to place my membership fees.
Because right now, most members feel ripped off.
So- there is a stat boosting item? No matter how limited, no matter how weak- When did that become acceptable Jagex?
Mod William, I'm curious, which Jmod is in charge of these updates? That is my only question. I want to know if I should properly hate Ogilvie, or IVP.
