Hahaha. The sound of Jagex laughing all the way to the bank as they rake in the money from selling spins, which is now basically selling GP.
We need ways to remove GP from the game though too, otherwise it will just be mass inflation. How about letting players spend GP to get spins, loyalty points, or dungeon tokens or something?
The RWT gold sellers must hate this update, because Jagex is getting the money from the gold buyers instead of the RWT gold sellers getting the money.
The only good thing about this update is if it hurts the RWT cheaters, since at least Jagex can use the money to improve the game maybe, the RWT gold sellers don't ever improve the game.
Its obvious the RWT players are not going away, there will always be people willing to pay for an advantage, so I'd rather Jagex get the money.
Are we ever going to get an auction system so we can sell our items for GP in game to the highest bidder, or try to bid and get things cheaper?
Can we expect Jagex to crack down on spambots who PM us please? Why not limit how many people someone can PM in a short time, or put a total level minimum to be allowed to PM anyone? This would reduce the throwaway accounts ability to spam by a lot. Obviously they would then have to spend more time on each account to get the levels, slowing them down. Turning PM off won't work because there are reasons we have it on.
I've realised the SoF isn't going away, so maybe add dungeoneering tokens to the wheel, or lucky chaotics. The dungeoneering level will still be required to use them.
Also maybe add free spins to hunting implings.
Thanks.
