i have a question (or five), timo -
why is jagex refusing to listen to it's customer base? clearly, and feel free to disagree with some stats to back up your answer, MOST players do not like SOF (or EoC - but i won't ask you about that since this is about SOF). they disagree with giving away or selling xp and disagree with giving away or selling gold. however, that is obviously what you are doing. why? why is jagex or ivp or whoever going out of their way to highlight this hated update? why has the bot nuke not happened? why does jagex or ivp or whoever spend their time with this stupid hated sof and yet bots just run rampant throughout the entire game? it's just more than evident that no one is listening to what the players think or want. why is this? don't give me some bs like jagex tried in the past saying how most people like the SOF. that is just not true. i have talked to many many people and have read many many posts on this site and others and there is no doubt in my mind that MOST people do not like it or want it and feel it's ruining the game.
if jagex values us so much, why do they keep throwing this crap in our face? are they really in financial trouble? what is the cause of this? why the drive to push it so hard when it's such a lightening rod? i just do not understand - it makes no sense to me unless, like people say, jagex is either going bankrupt or they are just money hungry pigs that don't care about the players (or the game).
so, there, timo. there are some questions for you to answer. i am more than confident everyone who has posted on this thread wants to know the answers to these questions. please, enlighten us because this bs is literally pushing me to leave - and i am not a rage quitter. i've played for 8 years, have a total level of 2333. i care about this game like many others and am just baffled at the direction it's going and how all those at jagex simply seem to not care.

Now is the opportunity to settle down, organize your thoughts, and provide clear and realistic solutions without unnecessary sarcasm.
Fact: SoF and Solomon are here to stay so don't waste time suggesting that they be removed.
I'll repeat some suggestions that I've seen thus far and with which I agree:
1) Remove xp lamps and replace with xp pendants
2) Remove ability to buy spins/spin packages - link spins to Loyalty Program somehow, generate interest/incentive in maintaining membership by providing spins at the end of the month or some such
3) Remove the ridiculously high gp amount rewards (200m / 400m)
4) Keep cosmetic items indefinitely or rotate them in and out during relevant seasons/events (beach towel emote/beachball returns every summer, Drag Cerem outfit returns on anniversary of QBD release, Queen's Guard returns annually during Jubilee, Fish Mask returns every Fish Flinger's update anniversary, etc.)
...I may update with more ideas at a later time...
Nothing interesting happens.

For even the luckiest spinners on the Squeal of Fortune there’s a chance you’ll win an item you don’t want to keep. Maybe you don’t have space in your inventory, or perhaps you don’t need it for the skill you’re currently working on. Now all you have to do is click the “convert to coin” button to instantly exchange the item for coins! You can hover your mouse cursor over the button to see how many coins you’ll receive before you click.
Can we please have this added for items we already claimed? I am currently holding a Huge dungeoneering lamp that I really don't care for, and want to trade it for coins. I find this unfair that we can now trade our rewards for coins, considering I got this lamp 2 days ago, I can't trade it for coins, and it is clogging my inventory. Update please!
Edit: looking up at the forums, I see that Mod Timo as posted here (page 23 or 24), showing that the Runescape staff are watching this thread and actually reading it. Thanks for the effort. Since you're reading, can you please answer if we will be able to trade old rewards received for coins/other rewards?
Side not suggestion: allow us to store SoF rewards in our PoH, its becoming quite a nuisance and clogging my bank :(
