@ Bootey, even if they made tons and bought a nice car, they'll eventually run out of money trying to keep paying for it, insurance among other car expenses aren't cheap and will significantly drain your cash fast. It may pay off some schooling, but in the end their only like 2 years a head of others, which isn't much time at all.

for all those complaining that jagex banned about 20 bug abuser instead of all the bot.
1:this is only a small part of the total list of banned player please read!
2 :D uplicating money is extremly dangerous and can cause major crash in the ge.
and for the rare i would like some more explanation

and for those complaining about the bot problem. do you have any idea of how hard it is to stop it? runescape is in fact the game i know who fight them the most. take dofus, wow and other popular mmorpg. they all have bot but the only who is really fighting is runescape. and yeah member bot pay member ship. but of these bot are stolen account and or stolen credit card. so they are loosing a lot of money with this bot problem.

Maybe next time a list of Jagex Moderators who created the bug + how long they studied for 'computer expert'...
Are they also banned from their work??
I sound a bit angry, but I don't like the "sharing player info part" in this.
We pay a lot for you (Jagex) to play a nice game without big bugs, keep that in mind.
I know there will always be bugs, but that big ones are mistakes that I can't tolerate of the players AND you (Jagex).
Again, they knew the rules before they played, but the sharing player info (names, lvls and hours of playing) is a bit doubble.

Rares coming back in, huh? What, may I ask, is the point of them being rares then? Rares get more valuable as they get older and as there are less of them. There is no point whatsoever to make discontinued items again, even if they have been wiped from some accounts.
Also, there are seriously far Far FAR more bots than these. Ever seen the aviansies killers in God Wars? There seems to be something slightly wrong with most of them. I've been there and almost all of them are bots. If you can find out who precisely has performed this bug surely you can do something to find out the botters?

you speak like you think its easy to spot a bug. but still im pretty sure you have no knowledge in programmation. all game have bug like this. how many lines of code ruenscape have do you think? i made some game for fun and with 4k lines of codes it begin to be very hard to find a bug. But in this case there should more limitation about the max gold wich is in fact the lenght of a integer

Hey guys,
Its really nice to know this. However these guys are unfortunatly a small minority. If you can get rid of the bots for us then people will actually believe that there is still hope for rs. Keep up fight :)

To be honest i don't think you should bother your silly little heads with bug abusers they have very little power over the economy of RuneScape compared too Bots.
In reality i think you should just patch the bug and go on with your lives. Really whats the worst that can happen? :)
