Great start Jagex, but as already said, there are a lot more bug abusers that are clearly visable in some of the youtube vids that you really should look into. I noticed a few of the names on that list were quite vocal on the forums about bug abuse and luring etc, and it seems the truth finally comes out. I hope this sort of communication with the community continues. Thank you.

I completely agree with Vapid Wolf in his post stating:
"There are 50X as many people on that list botting at living rock caverns this very second yet you broadcast this expecting it to make up for the amount of bots and squeal/solomon.

Jagex banned 20/200000 cheaters in the game and only made it public because they want to look like they do care about the game while they pump more micro-transactions into it. How can the mods watch there creation wither and die."
It's time players started to read between the lines and actually give some thought to the things they read. While this is certainly not directed at everyone, it does include a fair number of people.

As for all the haters: shut up. On every single update or action Jagex brings us you're right there belabouring how much you hate bots and sof. We've heard it. I for one agree that bots are a big issue and am not too thrilled about sof either, but it's enough. It's spam, it's stupid, it's annoying, and it's not gonna achieve a single thing done in this manner. If you feel the need to spend all your time talking about this then go to rants. Otherwise just stop it. Just stop it.

Everyone is annoyed that jagex hasn't banned the bots. It's because they don't have "solid evidence". These bug abusers were banned because there was conclusive evidence that they obviously gained billions in mere hours.
This being said - jagex should be able to ban all real world traders too and "a lot more bug abusers that are clearly visable in some of the youtube vids" as stated above.

Well done jagex! Now that you've banned these people, could you ban the bots and scammers too? I don't care how long it takes, as long as it doesn't take another 6 months to a year. Still, would be better if you did it sooner rather than later. Also, I have a suggestion for you with Solomon's General Store that could likely make it a bit easier on players' minds.
It involves being able to convert regular in-game gold coins to rune coins for use in the general store. Could you try doing that? Maybe it would work, who knows? But if it does, then great for you. That is, if you actually do it and make it sensible without having 1 mil gold coins to a rune coin. 'course that's an exaggeration but still...

I saw at least 3 of those players on the forums raging about how this was going to ruin the game, also at least one was trying to manipulate the prices of rares using this bug as a tool to do so.

I'm very glad to see this post, the name-and-shame makes me smile. I like to know who was responsible, and know WHO was punished. Not just that "someone" was punished. I'm sure you can understand that - as "someone" could be no one for all we know.
