They don't ban them, see for your self check both vids.
I just can't understand! I play the game legit, i don't hack, glitch, lure, bot, scam!
Payed membership for like 3 years now. Stopped due to game being destroyed. And this is how they pay me back? By adding rwt such as SoF, not banning glitchers/ bots, doing graphical updates that just make the game freeze a lot.
Why not just separate the game from rs 2006 and 2012?
For example "nfs" (i dont want to adv, just an example) it has series, like 1,2 "most wanted", "hot pursuit". And kids can enjoy any series they want without them getting updated!
(2012 end of the world?) 2012 end of runescape thats for sure!
(im sorry if the content of the comment has any grammar misspelling, hard for a person who knows 5 more languages and uses almost all of them every day.

There may not be a way to get rid of ALL bots, but there would be alot less of them if jagex stopped making these pointless updates which you call "solutions" (lol @ that cause the problems not solved) and actually banned the bots PERMINATLY.. Not only would a huge % of bots be out of the game but anybody thinking about botting would be discouraged at the thought of losing their accounts and therefore having wasted the money they spent on bots. And the name of this feindishly awsome plan..: common sense.

As far as I know this bug was ONLY possible by having a max cash stack, of course you might be pleased at runescape for banning some of those ''maxed accounts'' BUT imagine how many cash has been duped (we're talking about hundred thousands of dollars to millions of dollars on the black market) and even more important; because of this bug the whole runescape rare economy is trashed ONCE AGAIN.
Of course Runescape staff will ALWAYS claim that they did ban '''every single account''' that was connected to the dupe, well I have my doubts about tracing dupers on ways like these;
- dropping cash to people on other ip's,
- killing dupers through clan wars in red portal on other ip's,
- killing dupers through wilderness on other ip's,
- putting the cash in chest of party pete and popping it up with other accounts,
I think there must be some sort of leak in the Runescape development team because bug's that trash the Runescape economy keep constantly happening. Everything they seem to do these days: sitting on a bench and celebrating their 50% bot community with their 190 milion inactive members. Is NOT enough to get Runescape to 2020.

Randoms, randoms were a grate thing. Most of bots failed at randoms or just logged out. They need to get rid of bots by bringing randoms back, such random who can kill as well, i remember there was the evil chicken, swarm etc. It would make a large impact on them!

@Nohchi.. Bots can do random events, probably quicker than alot of real players. And while things such as evil chicken were ok, bots would simply carry a few tele tabs just incase. The only people it would bother are the afkers when they switch tabs and realise they're dead. Although i liked the evil chicken, that and the way your pick head used to fly off while mining etc

seriously whoever thinks jagex done a good job or says good fight .. are just plain nerds ... everyone would have done the god damn same thing but some ******* are just jealous i guess and jagex i know runescape history and once there was a blue phat duplication in rs classic and you found out about it after someone told you how to duplicate and you banned everyone who had numerous numbers of phats and you promised the first person to send you the guide forever membership but guess what you banned everyone now isn't that nerdy huh? and no lifing .... also if you could do that back then you could also finish the bot issue problem but you didn't because you know if you would do that .. runescape would drop more and you want more people to pay you -.- and that is the place you are succeeding in and i hope one day runescape does get SHUTTED DOWN FOR good i feel sorry for all those gp duplicators but happy also because they earned something IN REAL LIFE

For a lot of these people who clearly play too much R S, hopefully this ban will be good for their real life. I bet they're breathing a psychological sigh of relief for being freed from R S's paralytic hold.
