Glad to see the first step in what I hope is the start of a grand clean up. It was exactly the right thing to do to these accounts. Next step would be to rewrite/redevelop the bot nuking software to really clear out abusers and money grabbers. Then Runescape will be back to its best. I know its a big ask but botting really trashes any game and is the most annoying cheat/gain I know.

Lol, this is hilarious because there is so many more bugs going on and I don't even play and I hear about them, and Jagex doesn't pay any attention to those ones, but when it comes to money & wealth, they ban, when it comes to exp bugs, they just look the other way. Also funny, why even post this saying this is what you do to people who abuse stuff, plenty of people out there abusing your game by botting and real world trading, but do you do anything about that? No.. 2006 Jagex = Ban people for almost anything they did wrong, from Botting, Real World Trading, and Bug Abuse of course, 2012 Jagex = Let everything slide, unless it's got to deal with degrading your GP Value, that has no value really anymore anyways. For everyone saying do a bot nuke.. What do you think the new combat system is for.. To take bots out of the game for a "While" Until another person makes an algorithm to start the process over, but if that happens they'll hire him like they did that other idiot, that now works for them.

Great start but this should be the beginning of a long list of bans
Bots and bug abusers should be considered one in the same due to the amount of profit each makes. So if your gonna remove bug abusers its only right to nuke to the bots again :P

Fuze you're wrong.
The same thing happened last year with the glitch telegroup trollheim spell.
Jagex decided to ban or reset someone over that than fix the bot issue at first.
It wasn't even widely abused and from what I recall one player who had 30m mage xp anyway only got an extra 700k XP. And then there was a bot nuke.
So all this about banning bug abusers leads me to thinking the FULL bot nuke is only around the corner.
