This is the first time I ever commented on the whole 'Squeal of Fortune' thingy, and I find it totally legitimate for Jagex to get some extra revenue, but what I find troublesome is that this might lead to problem gambling on the consumers. Particularly so since a large part of Runescape's players are underage, teenage and probably easier to fall to gambling addiction.
I really hope that Jagex has put in some limits to prevent gambling addiction.

If someone scores multiple pendants of the same type, unused duplicates stack in the bank, right? If not, get on that in the next few hours and MAKE UNUSED PENDANTS STACK IN BANK! AAAARGH :P
Pendants > Lamps
Will benefit the economy in skills that require consumables.
(And also please squish bots NAO you loaves of french bread = batards!!!!)

Only a very minimal amount will buy these "spins" - probably <0.01% of people. It's sad how you are turning on a game that I'm sure you all love. Get over it, nerds. Jagex is company that is increasing income and what comes with it is more financial stability, it's what they do.
Or would you rather see a game with no updates which will slowly die?

I don't think i can keep playing this game.
I've worked hard to build up my account to what it is today.
However, this "Squeal of Forturne" garbage is ridiculous. For so long RWT has been a massively controversial subject. You've done everything you could to beat it back and keep it out of the game.
To encourage it now is like admitting defeat. It's like saying "It will continue to resurface, we might aswell just join the crowd".
i guess now would be the best time to end my membership and never speak of this game again.
In closing, you've done a wonderful job alienating your loyal community, just to fill your game with rich snobs and fill your pockets with money.
call me when you're finished murdering what used to be a great game.

Hey Jagex this is good! Instead of just giving us instant xp lamps, you should replace all those lamps with pendants so that we have to WORK for our xp :) And if you really want to give us that much xp, we could always, you know, stockpile a bunch of pendants in the bank and then head out and use them all up over a weekend or something! I think it's a great idea

I miss the better days when everyone had a chance of getting items to help for things like bonus Exp.
Example: Hati Wolf, it was a great social event where even low players could get the items for extra exp just by participating in taking it down.
I liked getting Hati's paws as it wasn't as much of a chance, more-so just working with other members to kill it and help.
Same with Sköll's boots.
Why can't there just be more of those instead of these SoF updates that a good portion of the players don't like? Though I do like the idea of completely removing lamps and just making them pendants, if anything.
