why can't just let people enjoy the game rather than spending ALL day figuring out how to kill a monster boss, they probably have better stuff to do rather than you spending your whole week playing rs (some of you it seems that way) maybe they will get lucky and get a good drop?

If people so wish to use 4x on nex then that is up to them surely?
They expire, and even if you think what happens, does actually happen then after a short while (few months tops) everything will be as it was.
I'm still waiting for the FAQ's since that GWD reference has me wondering that it will only be used there, and not just any old monster or boss.
regardless of drops, i think all in all this is good for the game for the long term, but hey that's just me

i doubt it gives you the exp, even if it does it's not so much if you think about it.

I agree, i know some people who would never be able to finish a certain boss or quest without these, it's a good reward in small doses.

So why not give people 20 darts instead, since it's up to them?

Nex equipment does not leave the game unless a player has been hacked and their items alched. A player dying and losing nex gear in the wilderness is one a thousand, for their price, nobody uses them. You don't lose them in PvM due to 4-item protect rule.
But you're right. It's probably best for the game in the long term since we're all so accepting to freebies these days. I'll just not waste my time and get over it I guess.

THANK YOU, Jagex. Thank you. I was so scared you were going to make the Choose Your Fate items some powerful weapons that didn't even degrade, even possibly make them a reward from the Squeal of Fortune (i.e., buyable). So THANK YOU for not doing something that would have enraged the majority of your player base.

And it doesn't end there! Imagine people who have bottomless wallets training loads of alternate accounts with 4 insta-kill darts each, farming Nex drops!
