Rewarding members with generic hand-outs such as XP and Spins, instead of actual enjoyable content. This is why I most likely won't be resubscribing again. Keep XP Lamps to Quests and Random Events. One is limited, the other is random.
And I shudder to think what these new 'powerful' equipment pieces are. Limited-offer high-end combat gear is a terrible, terrible idea. High-end gear should be earned (Dominion Tower was excellent), or at least bought in-game (for astronomical prices).
Why now? This didn't happen until about two years ago. Were members complaining that they weren't being appreciated as subscribers and wanted more than content for their $5? No. A lot of us aren't that lazy.
Obvious IVP move is obvious. Watch them pull off a 'chain' of these to keep Members locked down into subscription. It's sad because they didn't have to do these lame offers to keep Members interested in the past.
So I will NOT keep calm and there's NOTHING to party about.

well thats going to be extremely stupid, this is not a private server where u sell gold or "spins" or "exp" "runecoins" to make extra $$$. you guys are just ruining the economy first of all. so people who actually work hard and skill all day long for hours get little profit because the items they get are worth pretty much nothing or very little. then your going to give a free 1m experience out? talk about a crazy pure... 75 str... 10hp? You guys are going about it all wrong, i have been playing runescape for 6 years and your slowly killing it everyday... then the evolution of combat is trying to copy world of warcraft... You guys are going to lose a lot more players just like the "trade limit rule" believe me. take me in consideration jagex, i love this game, i know it more then anyone else and what people love about it. I truly believe i could come up with completely logical ideas to help you guys out.

So in the long run, your ***** over the hardworking players because they are poor. Then all the people who order gold, scammers (dicers,flowers,etc), bots, g etc are the rich ones bc they just get a lot of money for nothing. or buying spins winning 200m, whatever happened to working hard and honest? your just as corrupt as the rest of the world, thats why nobody wants to be a member anymore. im trying to help you out because i actually do enjoy this game a lot... 6 years under my belt... actually scratch that, i been playing since 5th grade. Now i am senior in highschool in a month, i have been around for a lot of updates, glitches, etc and i believe its just getting worse.. not only for the fun of the game, economy, etc but for you and the total number of players

RuneScape has always said that no-one with a bit of extra money in their pocket in real life shouldn't be able to buy their way through the game. This is why buying gold is banned etc.. This seems to be a way of buying items and experience, which seems to be totally against these ethics - especially the "Choose your fate" section - this will not only allow people to "buy" these amazing items, but (if they're already items in game) it will flood with market with them and totally de-value them. I can see why you want to draw people into membership over the summer, but this isn't the way to do it. Obviously since most of you guys are members this will be shot down, but I thought I would give my opinion!

So much whining this is badt hat is bad. if you don't want waepons then you are out. and those who want they will get them.
But not limited time weapons which will degreade after, something that lasts, or atleast can be repaired. Keep it up jagex, and dump the whiners :)
