1) It's a one time thing, not xp per day.
2) It says powerful ITEM, and that more will be announced next week. They could be anything (including weapons). So, instead of complaining about an assumption YOU make... just wait until it is announced.
I like this much more than SoF, as a money-making idea for Runescape. I know they just convinced me to give them 25 more dollars, though I still have yet to use my mad may necklace (hope that doesn't have an expiration date).
