Everyone's so upset about the bonus xp, and the items. They never said they were the most powerful WEAPONS, thus no statement was made saying that an unfair advantage would be given to boost paying members.
As for the items, if you don't want them so much you can simply drop or dispose of them. If they are tradable, a sell would bring you in a small pay load.
The customisation sounds great, I look forward to that, as in comparison to other games there isn't a load of customisation on here.
If you don't enjoy the idea of such a high xp boost, drop whatever item is given to allow such. IE sof lamps, necklaces, etc. Instead of complaining and jumbling this forum with hate.
I saw a statement earlieron stating that the current runners of RS were ruining the game. I will admit that given the option I would stick myself right back in the old RS.
But, this is how they're running it. If you don't enjoy it it's as simple as jumping on the bandwagon of another mmorpg, or clicking the big red X.
I thin personally the "Choose your fate" sector, gives a small bit of mystery, seeing as they had yet to release it. I enjoy the wait to finding out. I believe it could be pots, amulets, rings, etc. Nothing necessarily states we're all going to be handed some all powerful weapon to go out and PVP our way to the top.
As for the ones hating their updates, jump off the site or accept it's current runnings. You don't need to be baby fed a bunch of small updates that drop in new minigames to enjoy the game. Just let it pass.
F2P players SHOULD receive some sort of advantage, seeing as alot of them have been on this site for quite a long while. But if the runners of RS are a bunch of incapable money grubbing jerks who won't give loyalty benefits to all, that's their own stupidity. So lets all just accept what they're doing to ruin and/or improve the game, move on, and stop complaining.
