"Virtual currency and Items have no monetary value. Virtual currency and Items can never be redeemed for real world money, goods or any other item of monetary value."
So tell me, JaGeX, why are you inferring that these items have a monetary, "$45" value?
"Real-world trading is the term used for activities which occur outside of the game environment which result in the real-world sale or purchase of items, gp or services with the intention of supplying or advancing a Jagex in-game character other than by the means which are incorporated into the game...This includes, but is not limited to: purchasing gold or items for RuneScape on 3rd party websites, buying a RuneScape account on 3rd party websites, paying someone to increase your account's experience (XP) and paying someone to complete quests and activities on your behalf."
I realize, JaGeX, you are not THIRD PARTY. But this is against your own rules to sell experience, or to have any unfair advantages to other players based on real-world monetary items. Cosmetics and emotes have no advantage whatsoever in the RuneScape game, but experience and "powerful items" are a HUGE advantage to other players. This violates your own rule and terms and conditions under CONTENT STANDARDS POLICY, Virtual Currencies, AND the Real-world trading rule.
"Any attempt to real world trade is a serious breach of a player’s agreement with Jagex. Jagex does not recognise any attempted transfer of accounts or virtual items outside of the game environment."
Again, you ARE JaGeX, and therefore hold power to change any of these rules at any time, but to offer "items" and "experience" for "monetary-valued, real-world items"--without your subscribers' prior knowledge--is illegal and against your current rules and principles.
