I always try to report any bots I see as well as the chat spammers "buy/sell gp" bc i hate seeing the spam. It's annoying to know that I'm spending hours doing the grind and then see a flock of level 3's doing the same and know that they serve no other purpose and probably aren't even ran by a human.

With that being said, can there be an increase to max limit of people you can block after reporting. Its to the point where I have to remove a blocked person to add a new chat spammer.

Game gold farmers are often the worst kind of people. Steve Bannon helped manage IGE (Internet Gaming Entertainment), a company that farmed World of Warcraft gold, back in the early 2000s.
That company frequently used the identities of unwitting U.S. residents to create gaming accounts and connected to proxy servers so its activities would be harder to trace to its Hong Kong office.

It would be interesting to know who some of the people behind these Runescape gold farming operations are.

Wow, is this real? A higher-up at Jagex actually let this slip through? Kudos for taking action against 3rd party gold sellers, but now is your turn, Jagex: remove Treasure Hunter and don't replace it with anything else. Show that you care about the game. After all, you just said it yourself that being able to buy those things devalues the achievements of legitimate players.

Stone cold truth. I have literally bought thousands of bonds. I have receipts for every one. probably in the ballpark of about $40k IRL money. Most of it was to fund a gambling habit at the DA. One good thing came of it, I have tons of airline miles now. But, he is correct. I buy bonds now just to build wealth and buy rares. With the inflated price of rares, there is just no way to earn that kind of gp in game without nolifing it. And even then, the rate of increase will outpace your earnings. And for my trouble of supporting Jagex with my bond purchases, I got accused of RWT, I got a 2 week ban and lost modship after 11 years of being a pmod. All with no proof.

Be careful kiddos. I am 50 yrs old and can afford it, but this game will take you for a ride if you let it. See you in game!

hey,

i only gone tell this here and one's (1st it's a nightmaire to have found a way to offer you help on a wimp.. you guys know i've been playing a long time.. i have fantasised so many cool updates for this game so many repairs, fixes, inprovements that could make this the best mmorpg to ever be . but i just sillently watched how you excuse for the language simple humains... ruined the game millions loved by not goin the path evrybody wanted...
so ya you got my e-mail.
becouse i love this game and this is like a 0.5% chance
i offer my help for free... i have the credentials
and i beleave my fixes would bring back millions of new and old players
and bring back the wildy and live to pvp ..
believe me or not i dont care i stoped believing in simple humains a long time ago...
