As you can see, I have also been a loyal member for quite some time, even was a p mod for 6 yrs, but these micro-transactions are very troubling to me. It's only a stones' throw away from being an unfair advantage, and honestly if you view it from a communal standpoint, it is an unfair advantage. Not everyone has the real cash to purchase frills and such when they already pay a monthly membership fee as it is. As a single parent, I can barely budget the membership fee for playing, much less invest even more into this game to get "cool clothes" or emotes.
Jagex has been quoted as saying that RWT was wrong and that they would never participate, well here they are doing just that. I just hope the game remains entertaining enough to continue budgeting my membership fee for.
I definitely cannot afford to buy RuneCoins or SOF spins, I do it all the old fashioned way, simple by playing the game and skilling. That is what I truely feel this game was designed for. It took me almost 8 yrs to get 99 Herblore, but that is because I did not buy it, nor buy my supplies in game either, I made/farmed/collected from kills to get them all (even the glass to make vials for all my potions). Some may see that as "inefficient" or silly to not just buy it, but as for myself, I am proud of it. I cannot say the same for the new members that jump on here and in 6 months have a max cape.
Give us some better content, more engaging quests (that last one was kinda lame) and don't pay so much attention to voiceovers and ways to make yourself money. You will just lose in the end.
I can't say that I will quit, although I spend much less time now playing than I used to. I would just like to feel a bit more excited about logging in, knowing that my paid membership alone affords me the same opportunities to aquire items/emotes/etc as anyone else that plays.
Edit: I now see that my avatar says 2005----> I think it was when my CC expired, it should say 2003.

i think they need to redo the headbutting mining i swear it takes twice aslong as the normal mining does? please look into this...Also i would like to see the flaming skull added to the animatons i have them all besides dungonering cause i don't do it.and i would buy that in a second if it's added. it's not fiar when you give items away on the cards i have my credit card auto renewed every month what about a flaming skull for that? : ) ...i can' wait for more emotes and more animations keep them coming..
p.s To the people crying about buying the runecoins get a job and buy them quiet your crying.
