quiet crying about having to spend money...jagex had to spend money to update the graphics the time it took to program do that. you think that's free no. i would rather them make money selling ingame items then raising the price of membership. it's one or the other.. me personaly i would rather buy the coins or spins and not have to pay more for membership. plain and simple jagex you will never please everybody so just do what you want lol

The Company must REALLY be hurting for money, they're pushing players to spend IRL money more than ever here lately. It's kind of sad to see how far this game has fallen, and how they've sold out their integrity and principles in favor of making a quick buck.
Instead of making the game better to attract new players (and consequently more money), their only strategy seems to be about selling out.
Gone are the days where a game was popular because of how good it was, now replaced by a game where your IRL monetary status will start to reflect your success in the game.

I really don't like the direction Runescape is going with this.
I'm not gonna rage and cancel my membership or whatnot, I still appreciate what Runescape has done over the many years I have been playing and even though I only play a few hours a week at most, I want to show my support by remaining a member. But the last thing I want this game to turn into is a "pay silly amounts of money to dress up your avatar in pretty colours". I guess cosmetic items aren't too bad as they are optional and don't put non-participants in a disadvantage, but it's not only that. The wheel of fortune thing does actually give combat weapons and this "CHOOSE YOUR FATE" is promising one of the most powerful items in all of Runescape. If it does turn out to be a combat item, I will be very disappointed.
At the end of the day, Jagex is a business and a business' aim is to make money, I fully understand that, but please stop disappointing people who have stuck with Runescape through the many highs throughout the years. Making money is fine, we all could use more money especially in these times, but you can't buy integrity.

you are adding in all these money makers, just stop you are ruining the game, stop trying to add so much stuff in an fix the things already wrong with the game. This game is just getting worse as years go on..... R.I.P. Runescape
