What the heck is the big freaking deal?? If you don't like the shop don't buy from it.... As long as the items are purely cosmetic, I see NOTHING wrong with this update. And Jagex isn't supposed to try and find new ways to bring money into the game?? This affects players none, aside from a cosmetic standpoint, and with the new items being released with the combat rework looking cool will be no challenge.

the emotes are so dam epic, but still, it against the jagex rules for real world trading...i think? anyway dislike micro-transactions, but love the emotes! so....Meh

I think when they said "The world will end on December 21st, 2012!" they actually made a prediction referring to Runescape. Hold on kids, cause December 21st is the end!

I don't really mind this update since its only cosmetic for now, if anyone wants to buy runecoins it's his/her choice. But more in-game content would be better.

It's kinda sad how RuneScape is now turning to basically TAKING money from us I, as a loyal member, say that we(by we i mean all RuneScapians) should at least get fre RuneScape Coins, like the free spins on Squeel of Fortune. I really hope you don't mess this up, Jagex. As said before, do please take kinder to looking into my suggestion, and if you don't understand what i'm trying to say here:
I would like it if Jagex would give us free Runescape Coins, or at least have us get them by doing something, so please Jaex, take notice to my statement.

Players might be the source of a game's popularity, but in truth, most of the community has no idea how to run a game. I'm pretty sure Jagex and all of it's employees will add updates that they are almost certain will add to the enjoyable factor of the game in the long run (at least, for the real fans as opposed to the nutjobs living in the past). You guys are complaining about untradeable cosmetic items. Suck it up.
No, I didn't start in 2010 and yes, this is coming from a 6 year veteran player.
