I haven't read all the post but I have not seen any mention about the having to hit the enter button before you type out a message. This I know is new but it has caused me not to want to type because if i am not paying attention I will end up on the Quick Chat part and before I get back to where I need to type my message the party is already gone or what I was going to say has lose the meaning due the timed response. I know that you have set it up for the Quike attacks and I don't mind having to do something extra to type a message but maybe a way to turn on /or/ off the quick comands so that if you want to type out "I am going to ko you" instead of doing it you can. So far good job! it's nice to see a change but still have the same feel to the game. P.S. it would be nice to add the compare items op. to the beta

very good but i and so many people in the runescape community are asking to vote and i believe we should vote if the beta should be in game or on different server and i really want to have the beta but the way it is now on a different web page so, it is our choice to play on beta. so basicly what im saying is keep the beta the way it is, on a different server.(Im not threating jagex just saying what we believe)

beta should be on a different server. that way people who dont want to do the beta can do the actual runescape. the 200m players you guys have is going to plumit quickly with this update the way things are. and the combat triangle is balanced enough balancing it more is going to make alot of people mad. this update is already going to cost the company alot and they are going to lose millions on top of it from people cancelling memberships. so if you guys want to stay on top then take this update and throw it out.

will it be possible to have a vote just like how free trade and old wildy was brought back.from what i seen so far some like beta some don't by having a vote it would be awesome, not many ppl like the idea of spamming keys

The combat change is a giant improvement, but it's at the expense of some already-established & much-loved content, among skillers & other non-combatants...
The across-the-board changes are annoying...why can't I eat a raw potato anymore? Oh, because that is a stew ingredient now...so pickpocketing farmers gets changed, because nobody plays the way I do, oh well. What will happen to farming & fishing, now that only 4 foods are recognized (or worse 'deemed') proper level food for warriors.
Oh look elemental staves are now useless...guess I can't make those anymore, for crafting & profit...
Bad enough lodestones negated the need for most of the cool rewards on achievement diaries...meh, "change or quit" seems to be the attitude, now.
I wasn't really finished enjoying this game, you know?

All in All it's not a bad change, obviously there's room for improvements... well that's with everything. One problem though, Rangers; pures now have to level their defence in order to equip a majority of the armour, even ranged chaps require defence. This may be part of a bigger plan, although I would like for this to be changed, pures have been about for a very long time. I strongly believe it will make the game more linear, runescape is a game were you decide what you want to do with your character, with this change it's as if the main aim in regards to combat is to reach level 200?

My feedback and Questions for the Evolution of combat
Rigour and leach/sap Adrenaline seem like it will be very effective with abilities.
Vengence + Disruption shield don't have their cool down time like the other abilities.
They should have a cool down circle like the abilities.
I Can't seem to get any kind of data on spells.
Is there still Crush and slash on armor? If so, where does it show? Example: is Ganodermic still weak to stab?
Is there weight anymore?
Offhand weapons should look different from their main hand counter parts as apposed to looking identicle.
How do combos work? Does Stunning break combos?
How are the abilites arranged from top to bottom?
I feel the combat system needs a "Stand your ground" button. It needs to be quick like the quick prayers. If it's in a menu and you
have to open a menu and then click it to activateit is too late and You are dead from Combustion. Currently the only way to stop moving is to click where you. This doesn't work if you're running.It also doesn't work if you click where you are and a familiar is ontop of you. Your click registers on the familliar. It's a mess. Simularily There also need to be an attack target, that, after you eat a food (for example), resumes the attack. Pvp combat is happenng so fast now. This is especially the case now that players can Escape or teleport. You're dying while you are trying to reaquire them and you can't because it's crowded. I'm Teleporing/Escaping. My oppenent is teleporting/Escaping. Im switching armors. My opponent is to . And everybody else in the duel arena is! Half the time I don't even know who I am. If I could set who my opponent is and not have to worry about reaquiring them every time a do something then I can focus on my status effects, watch my hp, watch my oppoent's switchs, and watch my cooldowns. --Cool If my character had an aura and my opponent had an aura and there was an image of my target in the target information area that showed my target's armnament
