I Started the beta, began troll warzone then gave up.
I was unable to complete troll warzone. i did not know where to go because i did not listen to what the npcs had to say.
from what i have played during the beta this is what i have to suggest:
-Add new control options for players
The alternative controls will allow players to use the scroll wheel on the mouse to quickly scroll between abilities. Right click will allow them to activate the ability. and left click will be similair to the current 'right click' option, with the option to remove the number controls.
- an example of a game using similair controls "Orcs Must Die" An addicting game.
Enhance the old 'right click'
-allow an option for players to single click all oponents instead of click (to open click options) then click attack.
-If the only right click option is to 'move here' make it so they only have to click it once withought bringing up the right click option.
Finally,
If if you end up using a players suggestions let them know via your player messaging system, they all want to know that they helped make rs better. thank them as they helped you out.

i really hope yall fix the stun yesterday i got "gank" by a small team 4 of them stuned me while 2 of them koed me with meele and range i was "unable to eat while stun" and magic does not need to be worked on anymore its alredy overpowerd but what i mean i went all out on range against a mager i mayb dealt 500 damage in the whole fight i was useing dual weld cbows and pernix....
and fix the adrelinbar abuse..

i actually hope the beta won't come out.
i have played it for like an hour and i didn't like it at all.
my opinion: the abillities result into one big chaos of random spam clicking on abilities.
and i think you will lose a whole lot true and old fashioned runescape players including me(probably) who prefer the old runescape combat.

hello! so i tried the beta for over a week and i want it to scream my rage but its not the best way to solve things so in the other hand i would like to leave my opinion here
my account its a zerker meaning 45 def 95 prayer i have barrows gloves so first thing i did was to try the combat and i was so disappointing that i was unable to wear my rune armour my barrows gloves i couldn't spec with d claws i was unable to hybrid i couldn't wear rune defender it was so dificult to fight 3 guys at the same time also, how the combat calculator works its so uneven a 99 range only guy its overwhelm by a 99 prayer 99 summon with also 99 range when they are both the same combat. please runescape,jagex listin to zerker's accounts as i now i speak for alot of them dont ruin the gameplay for us.. thank you

Obviously there's nothing you people saying,"Oh Jaaageeexxx, this is hooooribbbbble. Stoooop ruining your own gaaaame," can do about this so stop whining about it.
Now, here's what is bothering me: considering how only members are able to join into the beta testing, this combat system is going to be slanted in the best interest of Jagex's paying customers, as they are the only ones who are able to play it and give feedback. When the combat system is finally released, obviously the members will have the most advanced combat methods possible, but when the free players are able to use it, they will have no idea how it works, and, like the RuneScape map, item database, quest list, mini-game availability, emotes, special effects like auras and titles, they most likely will have less then half of the full combat system. Less then half of the flexibility of the combat system. Less then half of the strength required to eliminate one's opponent swiftly and effectively. Less then half of one of the main parts of the game! Now there's not point in going back and letting free to plays play in the beta combat system now, but when it finally is released publicly, don't mess it up Jagex. Don't make it all about members again. Don't make it like the special attack gauge, as this is more then just a special attack.
P.S. Don't allow whoever you're fighting to see your adrenaline gauge >.<

Hi. This is for the devs; I hope one of you guys gets a chance to read it.
A player on a fan forum pointed out, correctly, that to establish single-way only Wilderness worlds is to partly miss the point of why all-multi everywhere was so widely protested.
It is good that individual PKers will still be able to more safely battle 1v1 in these particular worlds. But, if the entire Wilderness is made single-way combat, then there is in those worlds 1. greatly reduced danger compared to the traditional Wilderness, and 2. no interplay between single-way and multi-combat zones, like there is now.
The relative safety of single-way zones appeals to lone players and small groups, drawing them in and lulling them into a false sense of security. While it does provide them some protection in large multi-way fights, the fact that they initially feel safer venturing in allows larger groups to do battle with them in multi-combat zones in the first place. This is part of the "food chain" dynamic highlighted in the "The Wilderness - An Unauthorised Biography."
An all-single Wilderness is too safe; an all-multi Wilderness not worth venturing into. There must be a balance between single and multi zones that allows for risk without guaranteeing death, that allows for both individual skill and group cooperativity to shine through.
You have said before that the inability to attack others already in a fight seemed contrived, a silly "just because" mechanic that doesn't exist for any particular reason other than game balance.
And yet we eat fish to heal, we cast magic spells, we have the protection of gods. Then why so allergic to a well-working and well-liked system that has been without any noticeable flaws other than this (if you could call it one) for all these years?
You've made a step in the right direction with bringing back any form of single-way combat, but I urge you to consider the popularity and mechanistic success of this aspect of the current combat system.

not a fan of pvp in beta but the pvm is pretty fun. one thing though, with the removal of special tasks the enhanced sword: Excalibur is now useless. this once great reward for the elite seer's village tasks has become nothing more than a collectors item sitting uselessly on the bank shelf. one last addition i would like to see is the ability to put summoning scroll abilities on the ability bar.

I know im not just speaking for myself, and i am definitely not trying to put people down for making the new combat beta, but a majority of runescape players such as pures and low lvl defense players are complaining that the new beta update is ruining their entire account, which unfortunately i agree. Anyone who has 1-20 defense (pures) are going to have to discard or cut down half of there abilities to pk and do other things because such armour and items won't be usable to them. For example, the dragon hide chaps are over doing it according to many pure players moving the requirement to 60 defense. I am not saying this is 100% accurate, but i talked to many players asking about the beta and they are against the idea. Im not saying do not update to beta, but to suggest not making certain items and abilities to run pure lvl players. Just modify the beta update is my suggestion. Thank you guys!
