My top three tips for Beta:
1. Increase Ice Barrage freeze time.
2. Give bolas a random chance of binding the opponent
3. Add a spear "knock back" ability that is identical to the old spear special attack.

I really loved the beta before, but I just hated the idea of reduced EXP rewards. I'm really glad that idea has been scrapped so I can still enjoy Runescape in the way that I want to, rather than being forced into content I don't care for.
As for the rest of the changes, it's definitely looking better already!

Normally come on here to moan but am very happy to see the guys at runescape listening to player feedback and acting so positively upon it; i personally feel this hasnt been done much in the past.

Another thing I noticed that really annoys me, is having to click the message box before you can send a message to anyone. I miss just typing and hitting enter to send the message.
well u guys really did it i thought id play this game till i was 30 duin slayer tasks teaching my kids about it and so forth but because of your inability to keep wut u made and be happy u gotta go and change my mind im never gonna do combat starting wen the beta becomes the game cuz the beta turns this amazing game into another world of warcraft giving those people who have played it a massive advantage. combat was about skill before, now its about strategy almost like playyin a game of chess nobody likes to get all of their excitement from chess this beta is ruining a perfect game that everybody likes already. pointless
I'm enjoying the Beta so far. One thing that has stood out to me is the bleeding affect. In cases for melee and range, there is an ability in each that allows the user to cause a bleeding affect to their opponent. While I'm not against this ability itself, some players have been using it to where they will use the ability and then proceed to run around in which the opponent is left bleeding out chasing down the other player and not being able to lay a single blow on that person for the duration of the bleeding ability. I just don't think it's fair for a person to not be able to get back into the fight and counter or hit the person while their bleeding out. Again, I really do like the concept of the ability, but it's simply been taken advantage of.
Thanks for reading all the feedback and allowing the players to become a part of the developmental process. I think it's great that you're allowing the players to help shape the way we want the game to turn out. It shows the modern and innovative thinking that most companies are heading towards today. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see the finished product.
Instead of scaling xp rates ,add bonuses for those who will fight monsters closer to their lvls and the closer ,the better the bonus. This should encourage people to seek out these monsters.
I completely agree. There have been a few times where I have tried to type a message and then half way through, realize that I needed to click the box. I think the old format before this for typing messages ran a lot smoother in all honesty.
