Your wording in your first mention of these does in fact suggest that you do believe that these will have an effect on the game. When you were referencing people when you say "in a few months" you mean when the deal goes through. Which does indicate that you believe that the Chinese government will take some form of action against people that spread rumours. OR you just want other people to believe that is the case by your wording.
Both of which are NOT true, and thus alarmist.
Bringing up the political ideals of a government not related to the acquisition at all falls under the same category in the same ways.
Its simply not appropriate to bring up this topic due to the negative connotations involved.
