That's another one of those 'facts' that I'm ignoring (because there is nothing that indicates it's a FACT).

This bunch would state the exact same 'fears' no matter what country held the new owners (and that makes it the usual fear of change).

Ok here's the fact, the number of posts that are negative with china being the focus is greater than the number of posts that are negative with the focus being change alone.

Didn't realize there were so many sinophobes on Runescape. A few years ago it was Columbophobia/Amerophobia.

I suppose it doesn't matter what country a potential investor resides in, people will still have a phobia for them. I can just imagine the Canuckaphobic comments if the investors resided in Canada. O_o

Anything new is change, but from the posts on this thread it seems that its not the change itself they are worried about. But the people who own the company.

Anything new is change, but from the posts on this thread it seems that its not the change itself they are worried about. But the people who own the company.

There have been far too many claims about CC information. Which is absurd, considering that China ranks #5 for the rate of identity theft, while the USA ranks #2 for the rate of identity theft. Statistically, your information would be safer in China than the USA, thus, there is a fear of China present.
