P sure you cant sue goldfarmers in China, because the internet really has no country which owns it which means all sorts of international laws come into place.
An individual or organization in China can sue another individual or organization in China if their actions are causing a negative affect on their financial status or business status. It's hard to sue someone in China if you're trying to sue from another country, but, if you have a company inside China, such as the Shandong Hongda Mining Co., it makes it a whole lot easier to file a lawsuit, the same way it was a whole lot easier for Jagex to sue iBot once they had established their official US branch of Jagex. Suing from within a country is a whole lot easier than suing from a foreign country.
Sorry I belive that comment was supposed to reference how NAFTA allows China to make knock off copies or something.
But yeah you are right. I still think the main motivation is cashflows. I guess it could be seen as a backdoor approach into suing the pants off goldfarmers but I really don't know how it all works in china. Probs should but I don't.
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known
