Potential Jagex Acquisition

Congratulations on the business inquiry, Jagex! I can see that this appears to be a celebrated development among you.
I do, however, have a few concerns/questions (as any veteran player might):
1. What would this mean for the community? Would any of the traditions set forth in recent years (RuneFest, the Clan Cup, GameBlast, et cetera) be affected by this development?
2. What would this mean for RuneScape itself? Would the core game change based on influences from this new market?
3. What is meant by the term"acquisition"? Would ownership of the company change, or is it essentially an opportunity for expanding into an additional market, with marketing opportunities and potential player-base expansions?

Except jagex has declining income trends last I checked. When was the last time you checked?
I believe 2012, 2013, 2014 but I'm on my phone right now. I haven't checked in a while, but I don't have anything in my paypal right now, so I can't order any documents. A lot can happen in a year. You can go from a profit of 180m to a loss of 55m. And vice versa of course.
