Couldn't care less who owns Jagex as long as they don't mess with OSRS and force MTX down our throats.

Either way, not feeling at all good about this. It's gone from bad to worse if RS3 goes down the route as all other Asian run MMO's.

does the dev team and current jagex employees stay? If the current Jagex team leaves, that'd be bad. VERY bad. But common sense says that won't happen. Jagex will still be Cambridge based, just different investors.

Honestly, RuneScape was dead for me when Gower Brother's left. :'( Time goes on without stoping, nothing is forever and nothing will be forever, this is the cruelty of the world we live in.

The questions then:

1) Are they "buying" Jagex or "investing" in Jagex?
There is a fundamental difference.

2) Are the plans that the Jagex teams remain intact? or are they planning to bring in their own people?

3) How much would move out of the UK and to China?

Frankly, I think these are the questions your own staff are wanting to know.

4) Is this a move where they don't plan to touch existing game titles, but Jagex needs this to push forward with NEW titles?
(any plans to touch Block * Load or Chronicle is simple based on their own financial performance)

So many people are crying "Oh this will kill RS" or whatever else...
Everyone saying that has had a sub running since like 2010 and have like 600m+ xp - Yeah right like you're going to log out just because some people from China own a share of Jagex...

I'm simply not convinced because the news are referring to this company as the "LOSSMAKING" chinese mining company.

I said earlier I feel neutral about this. But maybe not so neutral.

to china but they love to MTX games to death.

Make it clear that we the people of Rs do not want MTX. I rather JAGEX to do MTX if needed. we do not want other companies to force every penny out of peoples wallets dry**** does not need to be PAY To Win.

The MTX from Treasure hunter are fine there are some that people like.

Just saying DO NOT MAKE THEM PUSH YOU GUYS
