You cant expect to get every promo item for free, just look at the cogwheel outfit, vip mems didnt get that w/o doing the 10games.

The cogwheel outfit was a different case; the player had to do something involving another game for that, rather than give Jagex money.

Please show me where jagex said they'd give you everything you demanded?

Did you not read the fine print when you purchased your Gold membership? We were promised all exclusives.

Now, if we don't get it, there would certainly be a legitimate grievance, but as it stands now, I think too many people in this thread are getting mad over nothing; but then, this community has been this way since I started playing 11 or 12 years ago.

I'll admit when I'm wrong (which I clearly was in this case), and I think it sucks that Premier Club members won't be getting it, but I see where Mod Balance is coming from.

I just received the cap, the estimated delivery time was 8 days and today I got it just in time :)

Anyone who is thinking of buying one should note that the pictures in the store are not accurate. The plastic part which is used to adjust the size is not colored, not at least on my Seren hat, whereas in the store there's a picture of the hat where that part is blueish. This is a slight disappointment to me. The hat cost me 40€ after all, so I expected that I would've got the item I saw. I'm not going to return the hat because of this, overall I'm happy with it and its quality, but anyone who is considering of buying this should know that the part is just black.

I'm just curious why Jagex had decided to resort to false advertising by using a picture of a different product.

I don't know where you are getting your prices from man but $35 AUD for a snapback hat is cheap, even considering the postage would make it somewhere around the $45 mark for a guess. In Australia you can easily pay $50 to $65 for a snapback hat, not including postage costs.

You not seeing the in game reward and not being able to select the one for your faction is poor marketing in my opinion. You are advertising hats telling people to choose the same one as their faction but then slipping in the fact you only have a one in seven chance of the in game reward being the one for your faction. That is like the Chicago Bulls basketball team advertising a hat for their team and then saying they will send you out a free LA Lakers basketball. It just doesn't make any sense! Jagex really were not thinking straight when they came up with this in game reward, well I hope not for their sake...

The Armadyl hat I ordered has a blue plastic piece on the back, thus reflecting the images accurately. I suspect they either ran out ones that color, or it was a manufacturing error. If it really lead to that much disappointment then it's a fair point to bring up.

Yea, i ordered a zaros one and it has the blue ajustable strap on the back. So it must be an error.
