I find this insulting to the players. Jagex may as well just beg us for money.

As everyone else on this thread is saying, the price is way too high, there's no Guthix cap, and there's only a 1 in 7 chance that you'll get the cosmetic that matches your god (less, if you pick anything besides Godless ).

Okay, sure, this is optional. As Mod Balance said, this is a premium item. Fine. But what really gets me peeved is the way this is all set up. It just screams "GIVE US MORE OF YOUR MONEY BECAUSE YOUR MEMBERSHIP, RUNECOIN, AND TREASURE HUNTER KEY PURCHASES AREN'T ENOUGH TO KEEP OUR OVER-STAFFED OPERATION RUNNING! AND IF YOU DO IT, THERE'S A 6 IN 7 CHANCE THAT YOU WON'T GET THE GOD OVERRIDE WE USED TO ENTICE YOU TO GIVE UP YOUR CASH FOR A STUPID HAT THAT HAS A SYMBOL ON IT NO ONE YOU KNOW WILL RECOGNIZE AS BEING A SYMBOL FOR A FICTIONAL GOD IN AN ONLINE VIDEO GAME! AND DON'T YOU FORGET THAT YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE OVERRIDE WOULD EVEN LOOK LIKE! YOU MIGHT NOT LIKE IT EVEN IF IT MATCHES THE GOD YOU CHOSE!"

Sorry, but you guys got enough of my money this year, and none of the money I spent did anything to further my life. Surely, I will give you no more for a stupid hat and a slim chance of getting the override I want, which is a chance of 0... because you don't have a cap for Guthix ! Shame on you.
