Question, can we buy the hats with bonds in any way?

Also the hats are kind of expensive, even though it will make money regardless because people will obviously want the exclusive in game item. One thing that would make the hats sell though, is if you made multiple in game items depending on which hat you bought, and if you buy multiple hats, you also unlock codes for multiple overrides. Just saying because if someone pays for a Zaros hat, and gets a Armadyl in game item, they will regret buying it and the rants threads will have some attention XD.

I've seen multiple times now where Jagex have been trying to sell merchandise in the store, I suppose releasing an in game item isn't such a bad way of going about selling stuff in the merc* store, but still though :l....I find that this might be a reoccurring thing in the future :o

Aww, I was looking forward to finally getting my hands on a Zaros hat, but I think £25 is a bit steep. They do look very nice though, especially the Zaros and Bandos ones.

I was also wondering if us Premier Club members will get this cosmetic, regardless if we buy a hat or not.

First of all, why in the hell did you make them snap-backs? Fitted caps are much easier to wear, and don't lump you into the category of "trucker" "hipster" etc. because you are wearing a stupid snap-back hat.
Second of all, that price is ridiculous for a hat, especially a dumb snap-back, and hanging a possible in-game cosmetic over the hefty price tag does not make it any more appealing for a player to purchase.
I'm sure you will have your share of idiots buy these, but these are a slap in the face of your players/consumers. Great design and idea, poor execution. Shame, I was actually pumped about these when I saw the sneak peek in your snapchat. :(

I was expecting them to be around £20 initially, I like many other's don't wear hats in real life so was considering buying the item because it would have been nice to have on my desk and for the in-game exclusive item.

However! Buying a cap automatically qualify's you for a free set of Monsters of Runescape Top Trumps which kind of justifies it for me a little more...

Still, I'll have to think about it though!

Jagex, stop and think about your prices for two seconds.

For $35 each plus the shipping costs, I could have two god caps custom made and still have enough left over for a meal at a respectable restaurant.

The ingame cosmetic doesn't even add any extra value because it's based on whichever cap is most popular, meaning that barring someone who is obscenely wealthy buying up dozens of caps at your stupidly high prices, it'll just end up being another ******* Zaros-themed cosmetic, like we don't have enough of them already.
