Good luck on your future endeavors Mark. There were some rough times but I know that lots of players will miss you. I wasn't super involved with the community aspect of the game aside from my clan, so I never got to know you very well, but you seem like a cool guy :) . Now that you're leaving though, I'm terrified of who your replacement will be. Jagex, please hire someone that's been working on the game and knows all the ins and outs of it. Hire someone that cares about the future of RuneScape!!

Edit: Just heard about all of this recently, shows how little involvement I really have with the community :( .

Amazing talented team? Jagex made a 2007 server and when it originally released they made it very clear that it was an 07 server and it will stay an 07 server. Look at it now, you now have godwars dungeon, new defenders, new weapons such as toxic blowpipe and staff, new poisons or "venom", we have the grand exchange release, we have new pick axe release, new dragons released, you got the kraken tentacle, the knock off polypore staff, we got bonds in game now, the list could literally go on and on. At what point do you guys ever stick to your word? Pretty soon your going to have a bunch of people complaining and a bunch of new updates to fix the past updates that screwed everything up. You guys never learn, always have to mess with stuff "for the better" till its crap and broken. Then you think of another way to get players, only to let them down again. Give it a year or two more and guarantee "07 runescape" turns into EOC runescape BUT WITHOUT THE COMBAT CHANGE. If you call that amazing and talented then I guess we wont ever see eye to eye on on anything. I started runescape in 2004 and 07 about a month after release, I've literally watched you wreck one game entirely and now you're picking away at 07 scape till its garbage like the rest. Some talent you guys have.

Players on the mostpart wanted it to get updates. Those are the ones they suggested and voted for. Don't blame MMG for something that the players asked for. Also do not forget that if he didn't allow it, there wouldn't have been a poll to add it in the first place, nor would the team be as large as it is.
