Some RSN names arent used anymore because the owner of the account died.. out of respect for our losses.. I really hope that i wont see those names online.. I really hope the developers of this idea considerd this.
However, i do realise how hard it is to avoid
Not quite sure how they can tell if an account owner has passed or not. But regardless, they have a whitelist of names and one of the specifications to be qualified for the list is if the account name belongs to an account where the owner is deceased.
Honestly, can't wait for this. Although I can see where people are coming from when they say this isn't fair, because the owner passed away or the account was hacked and then made inactive.

Please add a total level requirement to take one of the names for the first few days of each batch
Trust me, it's
essential
.. I know of people already botting for names they know will open, on accounts that have membership.
Take measures to prevent this or the else hoarding and insta-sniping on level 3s will be immense. Total level of 500-750 should be fine.

Will there be a system update that kicks everyone off while the names are being freed up?

No.
Not the best idea as I don't play RuneScape 3 so I don't have a total level of 500-750, but I do play Oldschool RuneScape and have that total level. Also I think a total level of 500-750 is quite high.
