Um it doesn't seem to work with buddies who have same task but from different slayer masters? Shouldn't it not matter so long as the task is the same? :( Or is it cause of these tasks being before the update so they don't work atm till next task? either way still mean! *runs off crying unable to slay socially* :P

Nice update,...about Gielinor games....hmmmm i did this today for first time, all 3 task but i did not see my xp go up....did i miss something or what?
It clearly say: You’ll earn plenty of Smithing, Mining, Cooking and Construction XP (for members) for helping out, as well as contribution points, which can be spent on some athletically themed rewards once the games kick off.
So i am a member and i did get the contribution points but no xp points for the skills!
For example:i watch my skill point of smithing when i was mining for the gold to make medals, but every time i get gold nugget no xp was counted by my xp points.
peace.

The problem I have with the social slayer is that if you are training slayer and you have a goal for 99, its going to take you longer to get there. If you only get half the kills, you get half the xp towards your slayer goal, whereas if you had done the whole task yourself, you would be that much a lot closer to your goal.
The 1 co op point per task, the icy strykewyrm is like 75 co op points i believe. It will take you 75 co op tasks to receive it. To me that is a lot of tasks that you will ahve completed quickly and with again less slayer xp toward your goal.
It is a good idea and a lot of people seem to enjoy it, but for me, it's simple not worth the lost of the slayer xp and the addional xp I am not receiving while I train my str along with slayer.

Since slayer tasks are assigned randomly, what is the probability that my friend(s) and I are assigned the same task?
Does my friend and I have to have the same assignment from the same Master?
It seems if I were to have, say, 20 friends I would have a better chance of having one with the same task as me than I would if I only had, say, 8 friends.
I know, the return argument is: Your partner doesn't have to be on your friends list in order to partner up. But it would be nice if he/she was.
Now, supposing I'm assigned to slay 106 bloodvelds and my friend/partner is assigned to slay 120 bloodvelds. Would that be considered the SAME task assignment?
Taking the above example: Certainly I would finish the task first. How would that affect the rewards outcome? Can I help him finish his task and still get the rewards or, when I finish, does that end the partnership on that task?

When are the games going to begin?? I'd like to know if it will be here long enough to even get the 5000 points to open the gold level and get all the gold rewards... I've been doing it everyday, and I'd just like to know how high of an achievement we're going to be able to achieve. Thank you

You get the experience when you hand the elf thing the 'gold medals' or the 'iron girders' or the 'nasty food' lol bawahahaha but yea, the food is nasty and you don't get the experience until you hand it the medals, girders, or food.
Watch for the experience gain as you begin to speak with the elf/gnome/dude!!!
