Hey all, just another F2P'er, here to spread my feelings of neglect this Christmas
Please remove the Black Santa Hat from the F2P G.E. There is no point in having it on there and it gets F2P'ers hopes up, which leads me to my next point.
Please remove Christmas Crackers from the F2P game. As they are unable to be opened by F2P'ers, there is no point in them existing in the F2P game. F2P'ers have plenty of advertising telling them to buy membership. We don't need more advertising.
Also, I would like to add my voice to the chorus of disheartened F2P'ers, in saying that Jagex has steadily been losing focus/interest in F2P. I know, I know. If I don't like what they're doing, I don't have to play. And that is true.
However, I miss the humble little game that RuneScape used to be. When all players could enjoy the benefits of an update or a holiday event. I understand that is still the case, to a lesser degree.
I mean there has been the EOC, a few new items and a few other things I can't recall at this time, but considering the plethora of updates for members, you'd think F2P would get a bit more. When was the last time F2P got a new skill? Dungeoneering?
Heck, even if the really old members content would slowly start merging in to the F2P game, that would be terrific! I think there would be a greater interest in F2P, without losing interest in P2P, so long as you keep updating it.
I just know there will be someone who will say "Why don't you buy a bond". Well, my answer is this. I play RuneScape for FUN. I don't play it to make money. In my 7-8 years of playing F2P RuneScape, I have saved up a total of 5M.
Playing for FUN for 7 years in F2P = 5M
Playing to make money for 1 day in P2P = More than 5M
See the problem that people who play for fun have with buying bonds?
