I was excited until I found it only works with Google Chrome Browser on Mobile. There should be an acutall mobile app. And it should be able to work with all browsers. For one thing I hate the mobile version of Chrome, love the desktop version of Chrome, but hate the mobile version. I except a fully optimised mobile app. Going to the internet and then finding the website is completely dumb and pointless when it's on a phone. I should be simply able to press the icon for the app, open it, and use it.

I'd say the reason it was released as a web application initially was to ensure that it was as widely available as possible (since any native application would be restricted to a certain type of device). I can imagine even more complaints if the initial release was only available for those who have an iPhone, android phone, or something else 0_o

I'd assume the locking to Chrome (and Safari) is mainly to do with html5 compliancy (WebSockets in particular), as is the case with the HTML5 game client. I would have hoped Firefox had fixed the bug which was reported more than a year ago, but I guess it's more complicated than that...

Bulkiness seems to be to do with the use of a direct connection to a RS Lobby server as opposed to an API. Shifting to the latter would (hopefully) decrease the load requirements. Though at least it requires far less power than the lobby itself :)

Just one small suggestion. Would it be possible to show the friends/ignore list notes, which were added recently? This would make it easier to identify people :)

Couple of other suggestions:

1) Can you add a "Guest Clan Chat" option? Preferably with auto-join as well :)
2) Is it possible to extend the option to temporarily leave your clan chat to the application as well? At times, it would be handy to be able to use this chat (and the game lobby) without *needing* to be in your clan chat...

I'm really excited for mobile Rs apps and have been waiting for a while to see what would be done.
It looks really nice but it crashes on my iphone 5s before I can do anything :(

Things I would like to see in the future are
Offline message box/always logged in
Notifications
Mobile forums
GE price lookups/trading
D&D trackers (like just added to game)
Monster database
Wiki
Overloaded XP
