Important question to anyone with a proper brain working at Jagex capable of formulating an answer that doesn't leave me foaming at the mouth aggravated because... it actually wasn't an answer; merely some BS runaround nonsense:

Is this VIP World JMod Q&A going to be exactly like 2013's Newsletter, where half (if THAT) of the people who pay the exorbitant price for the package information the most out of the extra incentives and in turn end up NOT getting what they paid for? Like; will the JMods only acknowledge half of those players?

..Because we're 12 months into the year, and I've received a single newsletter. That's... mainly what I wanted. So... can I get those? Or can I sue you? Can I get my 75$ back? No... right?

I'd rather not be left disappointed in some aspect once more so I think I'll refrain. That coupled with your awful price markup for less interesting incentives. A flying pig? A star next to your name? Replacing much more practical Runecoins with Loyalty Points? THAT garners an 11$ increase?

If it's any consolation, if you missed out on the promised quarterly newsletter for whatever reason you actually missed absolutely nothing of value, as they never contained any meaningful information or content that wasn't available through the regular newsposts and videos.

While I'm not particularly impressed with this year's package in comparison to last year's either, and am still contemplating whether I should get one, drawing a comparison between this year's offer and last year's pricewise is meaningless. As it so happens, last year's offer is not on sale. It is not an alternative to what's being offered. Therefore the comparison is meaningless. What you should be comparing gold premier club membership to for the sake of a fair comparison is a 12 months of RuneScape subscription without the various PC benefits, as that is in fact an alternative that exists.

When you do so, you'll see that (using my prices for reference, yours are probably different due to location, but the percentages are probably similar) 12 months without saves you about 20% over 12 single month subscriptions, while PCG saves you about 10%. In direct numerical comparison you'd be paying about 14$ (=12.5 CHF, price that I get) for the benefits of the premier club. What kind of value can we attribute to them? Well, most obvious is the value of 365 additional spins, which would set you back about $70 if you bought them on their own (assuming you buy 1x 200 spins + 2x 75 spins).

So that's how you might objectively begin assessing the value of PCG in comparison to something else that is actually for sale. Of course expressing endless, righteous rage is also an option.

Dear Jagex, My clan has set a rule that we cannot use the Blue Star Chat Badge in the Clan Chat. As of now you can only toggle it on or off and it shows up in all chats could you add in the option to toggle what chats the badge shows up in or give clan leaders the option to disable the chat badge? A very minor issue that I would like for you to take into consideration. A very minor issue I would like for you to take into consideration.

It's not *70 worth of spins. If you don't log in and use that 1 extra spin, it's gone forever. They're also not stackable/saveable, meaning they aren't useful when you actually need them (during a promo), devaluing them greatly. I don't value an extra cash bag or 500 gp in items at $70. They cost Jagex nothing to give to us. If we were able to claim 365 spins during a promo of our choice or save the spins up, that'd be different. Then I would value them fro the price Jagex sells them at.

The comparison of this year and last year is relevant. Offering up a worse, more expensive deal that the previous year is a bad move on any companies' part. Also, people on the grandfathered price of $5 are spending much more upfront rather than saving, while last year it only costed them $5-10 more with the amazing value of the runecoins. Runecoins are spendable all upfront, you didn't have to wait and log in for 1 runecoin a day. Value and price are different things.
hey lol

Dear Jagex,
I am speaking from a biased point of view. But it is still a case worth looking at. Currently the way you have it, all 2012 promotional items are now discontinued. I feel like this is a bad thing (I really wanted a lightning staff but was unable to buy gold last year). Discontinued items should only be from holiday events, and old items like disk or returning and stuff like that. This is a very poor argument, but what i am asking is can you please allow promotional items from 2012 to be a part of gold 2014? Thank you so much.

When Soloman's Store was announced it was noted that items from membership cards would eventually be available through the store. Stuff like the flaming skull, scarecrow mask and barbed bow eventually made it onto the store so given more time the lighting staff will appear.

Could anyone tell me when this offer ends? as I would like to re-new my 1 year subscription again but most likely won't have the money for another 3-4 weeks

According to the FAQ, January 31st 2014 is when it ends. Plenty of time.

When it comes to a package deal such as these, I care more about what others might care less about.

I'm not one to obsess over SoF. The extra free daily 15 yew logs isn't anything that interests me.
Loyalty points? Please. They not only hand those out like samples at a Teriyaki House in a mall via monthly batches, but have given them out in multiple other means. Runecoins were more interesting because of the bank boosters/interesting things you can purchase with them. I have more auras than I know what to do with, so LP doesn't affect me.

The newsletter was relevant. Although they did give them out to people at awkward times, the information (SOMETIMES) from what I saw was enough to keep me happy.

And to boot, my normal monthly rate is no where near 7-7.50/month. So... a flying pig isn't going to really entice me. If this Q&A business was to actually work and not be some lackluster BS where my questions ended up never being answered (which I'm certain would be the case) ..then I'd be more inclined to get it. Loyalty points + Third daily spin + Chat badge ain't gonna do it for me though.
