I almost bought this right off when I saw it was out... was at the pay page and everything when I realized I hadn't seen anything about Rune Coins...

I was looking forward to getting Gold membership again as the 2k rune coins lasted me the whole year which saved me a lot of money.

It's to bad Jagex continues to disappoint... it's literally the only thing you can count on from them.

THIS gold membership is released in 2013(now) till 2014 giving the promotional items of these years. Putting promotional items of 2012 doesn't make sense at all.

I agree on the Runecoins part.

So we must pay more then last year,oke well maybe the items we get over 2014 are worth it!!

Everything cost more each year,thats the way it goes.

I pay 10 euro more then last year for gold package,o well thats €0.83 more each month,i can live with that!!

But what i see in this thread on this forum is 1 question,but i see no answer:....untill when i can buy this premier packages???

Can i buy it in january 2014?...,like in 2013....,in 2013 i buy it end of january!

So untill when?

Also i wanne say my thing about the higher costs,the new runescape 3 and all that is needed to make it or developed how it is now and that cost money,and yes i think for €0.83 each month it is worth it,and also with all things you get what is in the packages.

I don't want to take the risk again of paying for a full year in advance.

And daring to ask a higher price with less benefits when the year 2013 was bad, no thanks.

Try to fix the community first, it's freaking dead. Empty worlds/areas all over the place.

No premier gold membership for me this time.

We are taking all feedback received from you over this years Premier Club membership and passing this on so thank you for all the feedback and suggestions so far!

So, can I please get an answer:

The 2014 Gold package is significantly more expensive than the 2013 package while offering a significantly lower value. With my recurring membership, I still have the grandfathered monthly rate of 5 Euros. I was willing to pay more than that for last year's package because of the added value, which mainly consisted of the Runecoins. The new package offers no incentive to pay even more. Flying pigs? Puh-leeze. Loyalty Points? Worthless until you release new useful Auras. VIP worlds? A slap in the face to the rest of the community. And while the Q&A sessions sound intriguing, if 2013s "exclusive newsletter" was any indication, their information value is probably going to be zero.

Also, the fact that you are including all 2013 promo items in the 2014 package means that those of us who bought the 2013 package are getting shafted because we are expected to pay again for items we already own. (On a sidenote, we still didn't receive the overrides for cosmetics we received in item form)

Now, here are some
suggestions
on how to fix what is currently another PR disaster:

1. Offer a significant discount on the 2014 package for 2013 Gold members so we don't have to pay twice for a bunch of promo items.

2. Allow players who purchase the package a choice between receiving Loyalty Points or Runecoins so we can use them as we see fit.

3. Include some decent exclusives . 2013 we got the Paladin Armour, which looks awesome. 2014 you're offering flying pigs ? Come on. You can do better than that.

4. Regarding prices, how about a reduced package price for those of us who have the grandfathered monthly rate to reduce the price difference if we buy the yearly package? Once you go NXT, you never go back.
