I'm rather drawn away from purchasing a 1 year membership deal... This year it costs more than last year although I'm getting less stuff. Also, all the unfair and silly things that happened to our rewards from last year. I'll list a few that I was most concerned about.

- Soloman's Outfit (Paladin Hero): was recycled at least 3-4 times afterwards making it feel less of a original reward for becoming a gold member.

- Access to a beta that was never implemented into the live game.

With that said... I highly doubt I'll be buying it again :/ Sorry Jagex... Seems like you would have put more effort into taking my cash.

In my opinion this years VIP/gold member is a ripoff.
You pay more for less compared to last year.
Also, most of the peoples already got enough loyalty points or got the items they need, including me. I bought last years gold member due the price and the
2k runecoins
. I doubt that I will buy it this year. Personally
I don't see any benefits
from this gold member, except for
1 vip world
that will most likely be overcrowded with other vips... You should give players the option to
choose between 150k loyalty points and 2k runecoins
, since this will atract more players.

Also about last years deal, the only worthy things were the runecoins and of course the memberships. In the end most players gained acces to betá content and also the items we received as gold members ended up in solomons store, making it less unique. I think the same will happen this year, so I will most likely go bossing and buy bonds. I might break more than alcohol can repair.

I have (4) 25.00 membership prepay game cards to be redeem for 2014 subscription. My question is why I can not be part of the gold club if I am getting a one year + member ship that will put me at march 2015 regardless of what way or how much I am paying for my yearly membership? Yep, I do not use credit cards or other kind of payment methods to play this game except prepay game cards. I think I shall be entitle to all the goodies gold members get if I have a yearly prepaid membership that was pay using prepay game cards. :(

Gold membership is seriously not worth it this year. I spend $60 a year on membership and I'm not going to spend an extra $26 to get a huge lump of useless loyalty points that I can't buy anything with nor will I want to spend that amount of money to get some flashy trinket next to my name in-game. If the loyalty points were swapped with runecoins then I would be more willing, but seeing as you don't get any... no thanks.

I totally agree, last year had much better bonusses and it surprised me that they replaced the 2k runecoins with 150k loyality points.

Disappointed.

I bought the gold premier club package last year but this year it's even higher than last years with less benefits. No Runecoins was the most disappointing part as well, I have to say.

I doubt I'll be buying this unless you at least add Runecoins and/or replace Loyalty points with Runecoins.
