Would it be possible to get some sort of status page that showed the health of various worlds/networks? At least that way we could pick a world that is looking good instead of rolling the dice every time. Ping doesn't seem to be a great indicator of this (and doesn't work on Mac/Linux).
Thanks!

Am I really the only one calling ******** here? I find it highly unlikely that somebody has been ddosing Jagex for the past ten months. The frequency and length that it has been happening makes it seem far more likely that Jagex just has crap servers. Also things like the BoL and rebuildathon are only further proof.
At the end of the day, Jagex is still a for-profit company. They have absolutely nothing to gain and exponentially more to lose through subscription and microtransaction revenue by intentionally providing sub-par service. This is a fact, and whether people chose to believe it or not is irrelevant. Disliked updates do not equal bad-faith production.

Quite honestly, that probably wouldn't do much more than give the attackers a blueprint for what targets to hit.
