i would like to see updates to existing skills and dead content before i see another leveling system introduced. It would make me happy if you guys rewarded people for their achievements already with either a star on their cape for every 20 mil xp that runs down the trim part of the skill cape (5 down each side for 200 mil xp)
I would also like to thank you guys for listening to peoples concerns on forums and taking it to a poll.

If, as you say in your post, this is aimed at higher level accounts, why are the requirements to vote so lax?
We're going to track and analyse the patterns in the voting.
Say the vote passes, but the overwhelming majority of high level players vote against it. We'd take that into account when deciding how to implement it.
"High level players" is a rather ambiguous term, can you be a little more specific?

Many thanks for the opportunity to allow us to vote. I voted 'no' simply because I have invested so much of my time already into this game, and don't have the time to do it all over again.
The aim of Prestige was to make it entirely optional as to whether you choose to do it again and also give you the option to just 'switch back' to your stats if you got tired of re-levelling them. You wouldn't have been forced into doing it or locked into training again if you chose to do so.
Update this big will not be optional for anyone. It will change prices on many items for people who don't want to use this prestige, prices have already started to change since the post of the devblog.
So if it is about being able to play the lower level content again why not have players able to reset their level and NOT add prestige level so that the years of work many people have put to this game will not go to waste when everyone can bypass them on hiscores with no effort.
The old high-scores will still be there. - You can still gain your total exp.
What exactly would this change what already is?
Yes it would affect the lower-level item economy... is that bad? I thought everyone was complaining that the whip was high-alch value.
Hell I would like a prestige system, without high-scores in there. But because of this brilliant poll that's never gonna happen. Since they just gave us 2 choices... Yes or No. Which is stupid.
I've been playing for a while and still am a pleb
I would of voted yes had the prestige system come into play at 200m xp or level 120 (all skills raised to 120 cap) but as it is presented now i have had to vote no
Pristeige would also be hugely unfair to the
majority
of players who have not yet maxed their skill(s). The prices of items would inflate hugely (this has already happened to some) and this would penalise the average player from achieving their goals as skills would become more expensive to train.
While seemingly a good idea to stimulate the economy, it really is benefiting higher/maxed players at the expensive of your average RS player.

Eza
Prestige would effectively revive a lot of dead content.
Prestige would reward you cosmetically for your achievements.
Why exactly have you voted against it?

Thank you for letting us vote about this. While I admire your initiative, I'm afraid it will ***** over more people than it helps.
Yes, low-level items will become more valuable. But mid-high level items will become even more valuable, thus making it impossible for certain players to reach lvl 99 at all.
Would you like the Prestige system to be added to the game?
