Try to remember these items have been out for a fair old length of time; if you have the equippable versions from their initial release then you've had all that time to look elite and well ahead of the pack.
As far as giving out free overrides to those who already possess the originals - its a nice idea but I'm not sure how complicated that process would be or if it's even possible. I'll note it down though.

lets look at the underlined words shall we? The same can be said for those that have a party hat or any other discontinued holiday item that they obtained from their initial release, but the difference between the 2, is someone spent some pixelated pixels for more pixels, while others have spent real life currency for these items (some have technically bought them twice since the price for gold premier membership didn't go down if you had several of those items), also some of us have given you more money to buy Dragon keepsake keys so we can use these items as a cosmetic override (I doubt its hard to tell who has & who hasn't.
but in the end it's all about money to you guys, so I doubt we will ever see a response better then this troll post.
I've been here since day 1, and have paid enough membership to you as well. so until we get a response, i'm not spending anymore money on you as a company, and before anyone thinks ''REALLY!?! OVER ITEMS!?!'' it's not just over items but its also over the fact that this isn't the first or last time jagex has done something like this.
