Look at the main page right now. The recent updates are: Solomon's, Community Round-Up, a Q&A, SOF, Behind the Scenes, more Solomon's, and a glorified patch notes to stop the gambling problem. Not an ounce of significant content, but no less than THREE micropayment updates in less than a week! (Sure, we don't HAVE to buy spins for the SOF, but why else would you keep releasing things for it if you didn't want completionists to blow all their money on spins to get all the new stuff?) When mmg said you guys would tone down the micropayments, I didn't realize that meant you would INCREASE them!
Do us all a favor, Jagex. Could you go at least one content update, if not a week's worth of main page updates, without trying to leech more money out of your increasingly displeased player base? Instead, try putting that money you're raking in with the micropayments into making actual content instead of using the micropayment money to make more micropayments! The game doesn't need more cosmetic crap. It needs substance. Things are really getting out of hand with the cosmetic/micropayment black hole of filth that's swallowing up this game

Try to remember these items have been out for a fair old length of time; if you have the equippable versions from their initial release then you've had all that time to look elite and well ahead of the pack.
As far as giving out free overrides to those who already possess the originals - its a nice idea but I'm not sure how complicated that process would be or if it's even possible. I'll note it down though.
I'm certain in My soul that this is possible.
Please make a little effort to do such a thing on behalf of Us.
It can be a little nerve wracking to some to have to pay twice
for items to be displayed. I understand seniority, and it should
be displayed through this as well. We appreciate this consideration a bit,
but I would really hope You listen to the Players on this one.
I don't think hardly *anyone* Who received these before would
be against receiving a cosmetic version. In fact I can imagine just about every single Person would be game for this. Game I say! Love! Peace! Bliss!

Well those two are discontinued holiday items, so no. Regardless, I wouldn't try to extrapolate a future release plan from this small release.

Also It's upsetting that those of us that have the wearable versions are not given the cosmetic override. I know that you guys said that they would be available again through a different means but why so cheap? Most of the items were from a $22.50 (+keepsake's effect is $5 if you want to always show it) membership card and now the items are less than $10? At least give us the cosmetic override when possible, I have all of the membership card vanity items but the Ice Mask, was a day late on this

All we're missing now are untradable Holiday items.
