Great! But they'll ban you for the stupidest thing. Although FB is considered "PUBLIC" domain, they think they own the comments posted on their page, and can 'moderate' the content there to what they deem fit. Pathetic grasp for control/manipulation where they have no right to reach for it. They will never 'un-ban' users from using their page either, no matter what it was.

It seems to me that the Gold Premier package was just an easy way to get lots of players' money for the year and lock them in. I've supported [stuff]. I've never felt like they've betrayed their players more than now. By the looks of it, they're just waiting for people to get over this and pretend as if nothing happened.

next will be santa hats and party hats... for those too poor to buy it's great (me included)... but for those that really own it... frustrating. what a shame that Jagex messes the game up with EOC and loses money to have them turn around and start reselling items that were to be considered special. not so special with people able to get a fake look-a-like for cheap.

Lol I doubt they'll do that to things you can already get in-game with gp if you work long enough for it. Old untradeables maybe in the far far future, but santas, edibles partyhats etc, definitely not. They'd just be worthless $5 hats everyone has, tons of people would quit and everything would crash, lawl. It's really becoming irritating with all these comparisons. They should simply give people their overrides and lock this thread.

I doubt lots of people would over it because lots of people would buy them, bringing people back to the game and putting money in Jagex's pocket$.

I've been playing this game since day one and have owned hundreds of each rare in the last 11 years (cant say 12 until dec). and as Debrin said we've had years to enjoy being ahead of the pack. stop thinking of your self & anyone else who owns a "rare" and see it from a different point of view. Someone who doesnt care about them anymore (me) & the players that would really like to catch up with the rest of the pack.

They wont give anyone a free over ride or dragon key refunds because that is jagex plan to make more $$.

In a way they did listen to us with the "dont scam us with game promos anymore" comments we left. For a little be we will get a FREE set of skypouncer, it'll always be there for us to buy.

The reason everyone is upset is because the items were billed as "Exclusive", and now just about anybody who saves up a little money can get one on a whim. Not to mention they were used as a bonus for those who bought the club subscriptions and as prizes for contests.

"Hey, you just won this special prize a few months back. You've had enough time to enjoy it, so now we're going to sell them on the street corner for ten bucks. :D "

Honestly, I'm not even upset that these items were released to the public. The only thing that has me upset is that I already own the "physical" version of these items and I have to pay again if I want the cosmetic override version of them. I just wish those of us who had them already got the override.

Of course I would, that's a big part of the game. Saving up for ages and ages to get what you want. I get that you were ripped off and I want to see everyone here get cosmetic override versions of their items. I don't see the reason in bringing others down with you when what you want to do is get your problem fixed. ;)

My real life dollars and time have now been shorted, as opposed to the fake currency used to purchase those holiday items, like P.hats. ^-^
