I could have payed and played for the entire year for MUCH LESS using my old rate.

---Limited Edition Items:
Well apparently they're suddenly not limited edition anymore and, Oh look *even worse* the new versions are even more convenient by not taking up an inventory spaces or armor slots. That seems fair, sell the crap versions to players in an expensive special package under the premise that it's the only time they'll be available, then turn around and make them permanent. It was one thing when they were limited then you offered them one more time in the premium package, but now they're permanent.
The only thing that doesn't make this PERJURY is the fact that it's an override instead of an item, but ethically, it's the same exact thing. TELL ME HOW you expect me to be loyal for too long to a company that LIES to me???? TELL ME PLEASE

---Access to Certain RS Betas Not Available to the Rest of the Public:
There hasn't been a single word of or even a hint of one beta this year. On top of that, when you get right down to it, the betas are basically us doing work for Jagex AND THEY'RE THE ONES GETTING PAID!
Next thing you *now they'll have beta access tickets in the store.
PLEASE let us have Something for the extra expenses!

Dear Jagex,
If you don't either take those items off the store, or do/give something extra for/to your premium Gold Membership players, you're not going to be able to sell this package again next year. If that was your intention from the beginning, then all the respect you earned back from me with the old school servers is now, once again, lost.
Look at your community! Look at this Thread! We're not idiots, we can see this is obviously a huge scam!
For the sake of common decency as a respectable company, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!

You /did/ get 2000 free runecoins and there are 9 months left in 2013. But those who bought the card didn't. I still think the whole 'limited edition' thing was a scam. There's so such thing as exclusive items to Jagex; it's whatever will bring them in money.

Try to remember these items have been out for a fair old length of time; if you have the equippable versions from their initial release then you've had all that time to look elite and well ahead of the pack. :)

As far as giving out free overrides to those who already possess the originals - its a nice idea but I'm not sure how complicated that process would be or if it's even possible. I'll note it down though. :)




They still need to make them available to people through SGS who had them before, for free, no matter what.

The worst thing about this by far is the lack of response. We're extremely upset by this, and it's almost as if they just don't care anymore. It puts us in a hard spot because we see how much effort Jagex puts in and how excited they get when they make something cool, so we wanna think they are thinking these things through. But then when they pull a stunt like this and don't address it for days while the player base gets all riled up... it's an awful model. Jagex, you said this year you'd work with us more, here's your chance. You've done some things that angered us before, and we've adapted to all the changes as a good MMO player base should. But this time you've lost our trust.

You received enough value towards your purchase for the gold package.. Don't try to make out to be otherwise. The year isn't even half way over. The issue at hand is that the items are inferior to the new SGS versions and need to be fixed. Another problem is their lie of exclusiveness..

that came off really snarky btw. "You've had all that time," As if there was a gracing time for the items to start. If people knew you would do this, there wouldnt have been a rush to get them, and trust me when I say there will NOT be any desire to participate in future promotions do to the idea that you might undermine the idea of exclusive/limited edition again

Well time for an educated opinion of my own, as my previous posts were just replying to other members and complaining myself.

Jagex, I feel deceived, you just deliberately told us all to our faces when this update comes out promises of limited edition content, none of this is exclusive now. You will never be pardoned for this travesty you've swindled us with. Look at your beneficiaries, Jagex. None of us are satisfied at the fact you undermined us, the ones who are actively trying to help you and help ourselves. I am a 1st time buyer, we are all the benefactors that keep your company running, and now that I feel I was conned I will never benefit your cause again. We are the ones who benefit you, I don't see any f2p ever helping you, this is just common business stratagem at Jagex, to collapse the supporters and then assume to give it time and be remiss of all punishment. Your company to me has never been more of acid, eroding the player base to find the only intention your company has now.
