Usually I'm against the anti-SGS ramble since its mostly the same arguments rehashed. But even I have to say this is kind of a low blow for the people with gold premium, as well as those that obtained the item through membership card promotions.
One of your major hitch lines for gold premium was the fact that people had a second chance at these previously unobtainable items. So a good number of people put in a pretty chunk of cash for this option (as well as some of the others). But now you pretty much rip the rug out from under them, and the 'these items have been out for a fair length of time' argument is pretty cheap considering premium has only been an option for how long?
And lets not ignore those who bought the membership card promotion. You already took away some of the whole point of going out of their way to buy membership cards at the time those items were offered when you through it into premium. But at least that was for the few who decided to show a dedication to RS through buying a year of membership + benefits through premium package. Now you've just completely ruined the whole point of ever buying it.
Judging by this I certainly won't be going off of any 'exclusive deals' offered in the future. I'll just wait until you sell it at a later date. Also, the 'if this is even possible' comment I've seen thrown about for the pleas for a free override for those who already have this item in one form or another, is also pretty low. I think anyone in their right mind is possible, considering all the amazing...and not so amazing things you've done in the past.
