i see why many ppl are mad at jagex right now! but i really dnt care if u added these items on ss as long as ppl that already have em get the overides for free. im pretty sure u can do that easily jagex no need to say it would be too hard....

also if there is a membs pack next year im not getting it for sure cuz thewhole point of it is the items but it seems like u will put them on ss anyways.

Hi Jagex & Mod Drebin & Mod William,

I can see why these members are upset and I'm a bit miffed myself. I got those "special promo" items like the flaming skull etc. buy buying the $25 game card.

Then (down the road) you reoffered them in the "premier packages"...
and now you reoffered (although I haven't looked at them atm in the store) in Solomon’s.

I understand about some "rares" not being put "out there" but there are some things like the sunbathe emote and the like that people might just eat up if you used those instead. people spent a lot of money on sof and never got it (or others) sooo...

This is my suggestion! Add those items/emotes! Oh well, nothing ventured... nothing gained.

Be safe... Have fun...

Whether those who got the actual items bought it via game card (in which the items were free) or via premium membership (page 22 has a nicely summed explanation why that was a great deal), then you are actually saving money. The cost of the keepsake box is slightly cheaper than the cost of the override itself. the cheapest there is barbed bow. If you decided to get that as an override, the keepsake box would save you at least 0.28 USD. The most expensive of the releases is the flaming skull. If you get the keepsake, you'd save at least 1.93 USD compared to the override. And judging from the reactions, it's safe to say these items are fairly popular and prized. Refunds for buying something that actually saves money would truly be a sign of Jagex ripping people off. Instead of saying Jagex ripped us off, can't we say it's a win-win-win? Jagex makes money, people who had the items save money, and people who don't have these popular items can get them.

Suggestion on how to reimburse people: Add right click options to the items saying "Add to customization" that adds them to the customization screen. Add a check to the reclaim keepsake item to check if it's one of the items, and if so give the Keepsake key back.

It shouldn't be too difficult to implement, I see no reason why Jagex won't be able to if they want.

Bumping my suggestion from page 4. Implement plox. And then people will be less mad at you.
You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?

ill be filing a legal suit against jagex for manipulative marketing unless this action is reverted in the next 48hrs...

Good luck with that, bro. What shall you be filing the suit under? [Inappropriate] assault because you're butthurt?

I purchased all the game cards and promotions, I purchased the Gold pack. Am I annoyed by this update? Yes. Do I think we should be given these for free through a quick code addition to the game? Yes. However, I'm not dense enough to claim legal action where none can truly occur, all due to being annoyed by something.

I've also noticed some other idiots here still clinging to the idea of sgs and sof being "rwt" and others still holding strong to the b.s. claim of pets giving "an unfair in-game advantage."

[FYI: RWT is where *you* (a person that is *not* Jagex) turn around and sell a games' items, currency, or [services for the game] for real money. The code, items, currency, and xp table are not property of yours.

Jagex, however, being the legitimate owner of the game, its' items, its' currency, and its' xp tables, very well /can/ sell anything they want [currently: items and xp lamps] without breaking the common-in-modern-MMOS RWT "rule" because, as I just said, they OWN THE STUFF THEY'RE SELLING.

A further difference is that technically, because /they/ own it and /you/ don't, if you /try/ to sell it, they are /legally/ allowed to sue you for selling something you don't own the rights to sell.]

I'm guessing you didn't know that right after a huff of complaints upon Squeal of Fortune and Soloman's General Store, after that they changed the rule of RWT then so that you are allowed to trade with Jagex, not just 3rd party vendors, where as before SGS and SoF you couldn't trade with anyone? This is similar to Ex Post Facto under the US const, changing a law after they break it to make it OK.

Quite frankly anybody who bought the gold membership just for the items is a laughing stock. I mean, come on was the fact that you got over twice the amount you paid for in everything else not a factor or something?

I didn't buy the Gold Premier Package, i'm mad too. Know' why? Because I bought it when it was in its' first limited edition sale.

1) Selling it with 3 month memberships
2) Selling it with the Gold Premier Package
3) Selling it on Soloman's General store (now)

I am extremely mad, but it's not like Jagex checks any posts after page 3 anyways. I just want to say that you're wrong for assuming that all of the people here are mad over just the premier club. Additionally it's important to note the items we own are inferior to the Soloman's store items. We have actual items that take up the head piece while Soloman's flaming helmet is an override which puts our money to shame, only to leave our head down knowing we just got scammed by master con artists.

As far as giving out free overrides to those who already possess the originals - its a nice idea but I'm not sure how complicated that process would be or if it's even possible. I'll note it down though. :)

You better make it happen, you owe us that much >:-(
If an NPC can give us a cosmetic override like the Sword of Edicts, then having Diango give out the promotional items as such should not be a problem either.
No more excuses.
O_o :P :@ :O
