Why?

Because it's automated now!
That's Right!
You can get muted for using swear words in a very casual, non-offensive way and get muted for it!
So you better watch your mouth!

And if you feel like you have been wrongly muted, too bad!
You will get a nice message telling you to make an offence appeal!
And yes, they mean the offence appeals that they never ever answer!
So again, "Wrongly Muted? Too Bad!"

Today's colour is LIGHTSALMON. To use these colours, type the colour name in brackets [colour name here] like those, at the start of the message, and [/colour name here] at the end. I suggest experimenting with red, it's shortest to type.

That's correct.
If you die and lose like 10m or something else as distressful as that, you can't express your anguish in a relatively harmless way by simply saying "Sh*t" or "F***".
Just once mind you. Don't expect to not get muted if you go on a 30 minute rampage cursing up a storm, in which case a mute is necessary.

But yeah, harmless/recreational swearing can get your ass muted, so watch yo mouth boy!
Jagex gon' go beat yo ass with the muting stick!

Oh dear...

It appears that they are going to remove JAG from us in favor of an app..

I don't have an Iphone, can't afford one, and don't want one.
They said you can use this app on a computer but recommend using it on a different computer...
I can't afford to buy another computer either.

There isn't anything wrong with JAG, and if there is, it's better than nothing.
I have not been hacked once ever since I registered my account with it, and now that they are taking it away, I'm definitely afraid that I'm gonna start getting hacked again.

Why can't this new thing just be an optional second layer of defense?
Why can't we just keep JAG if we can't afford to own one of those new age, fangled contraptions?

Gosh, that last sentence made me sound old..
